THPG for DS
Anyone pick up tony hawk's proving ground? The online play is fun even though i keep running into people 10 times better than me lol.
i was surprised to see the DS version getting the highest reviews out of all the version. it's a great game for a handheld system, actually. The graphics are around those of the playstation version... but that doesn't bother me. it's classic tony hawk gameplay in your hand! If you haven't, you should check it out. There's a decent amount of character customization, too. You can use the touch screen to draw on your gear (torso, pants, and deck.) on the website for the game you can download art, upload your own and view other people's win/loss ratio, etc. There's a story mode where you go through completing goals and a classic mode as well like THPS1-2 where you do runs of two minutes and try to find the secret tape and all that. The Multiplayer (local and wireless online) has about 10 modes to choose from.. ranging from what you'd expect like Horse and Combo run, to weird stuff like skatris (complete the most specified tricks as they come up in the upper right hand corner) and red light green light (only land tricks when the light is green!) i feel like i got a good amount of gameplay for thirty bucks. i sort of liked Sk8land, but never got it.. i'm glad i got this one.

Really I thought this was something for darkshark and I've never played a skateboarding game. I just want a DS so I can play old FF's on the go.
