Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
DBP 38 plus two blue millers (seen by wolf seer) plus two red millers (seen by human seer). Sounds a bit more balanced to me. I think DBP was more interested in playing and Nija in hosting if I recall. He (DBP) had mentioned the possibility of Nija hosting his game idea if Nija was interested. Comment away DBP and Nija so we cam get this game rolling.

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
I like the addition of blue and red millers to balance two seers as opposed to just 1 seer and blue millers. (I don't know how many reds there would be but I figure for every true red or blue, you should have an equal or greater number of millers to balance.)
But I still want to make sure that the wolf seer gets his result before the kill is sent in. |

I'll host if nija doesn't want to. I don't really care at this point. Hosting right now would be easier than playing, with school and whatnot.

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
I think DBP's idea sounds awesome.
Oh, hi. Yeah, I played TWG a couple years ago on another board and thought it was awesome, and not until recently I found out it was going on in the FFR Forums. Sup? |

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
Yo.
- I think my previously posted version with the addition of two red millers and two blue millers would work quite well. I don't really like the idea of the wolf seer getting his/her results before the kill as it would extend the night greatly (as talisman stated) and it gives the wolves a huga advantage. I've thought about this alot, and unless a bunch of people think that the game will be unbalanced the way it sits, it'll most likely stay. (Just for the sake of being clear: ) Edit: Oh god in b4 christmas colors ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 16 players: Team Evil: (4 players) 1 Wolf 1 Wolf Seer 2 Wolf Vigilantes Team Good: (12 players) 4 Humans 2 Seers 2 Kamikazes 2 Red Millers 2 Blue Millers Wolf - Basic part of team evil. Comes back as NOT HUMAN to the seer. Wolf seer - Checks one person for color each night. The results come AS DAY BEGINS on the next morning. He/she will receive BLUE, GREEN, and in the unlikely event that they check another wolf, RED. Comes back as NOT HUMAN to the seer. Wolf Vigilante - ONCE per game, the wolf vigilante can choose to kill a person in the game. This kill is displayed as a kill during the night, and is not seperated from the night kill. IF the Wolf Vigilante hits a Kamikaze with his kill, the Kamikaze's power DOES NOT activate. He dies like a normal human. Comes back as NOT HUMAN to the seer. Human - Meat. Comes back as HUMAN to the Seer, and GREEN to the Wolf Seer. Seer - Checks one person for color each night. The results come AS DAY BEGINS on the next morning. He/She will receive HUMAN and NOT HUMAN. Comes back as HUMAN to the other Seer, and BLUE to the Wolf Seer. Kamikaze - In the event that the Kamikaze is night killed, a RANDOM wolf will be killed. This will be displayed as a kill at night and will not be seperated from the night kill. Comes back as HUMAN to the Seer, and BLUE to the Wolf Seer. Blue Miller - Meat. But with a twist. The Blue Miller comes back as HUMAN to the seer, and BLUE to the Wolf Seer. Red Miller - Meat. But with a twist. The Red Miller comes back as NOT HUMAN to the seer, and GREEN to the Wolf Seer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just typed that up real quick. If I got a color wrong, let me know. Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
Also, I really like the idea of hosting this game (if we play it)
Unless nija shows an extreme interest in hosting it, I think I'm going to in the event that we play it. |

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
I agree here. 2 each sounds better. We're not looking to make them fake wolves/blues, just to cast the doubt.

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
Yeah, the idea of millers gives a good way to put the game in balance, and could cause some uproar among people when the human seers find out who eachother are, and are trying to defend eachother, etc.
Yeah, I think DBP's idea is very well constructed. We should try it. And no, I've played TWG before. I know all of teh terms. |

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
Too many things in there that I haven't played with, wouldn't be the best idea to host. Go for it dbp.

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
DBP's newest sounds great.
I am also just starting two weeks off so activity will be anything but an issue (for all of you still angry at me for my vague emergency a few games back).

Re: TWG XLI Hosting Singups
No night would still be the same, just the host has to be active enough to send the result back in before the wolves made their choice.
As long as the host and wolves are active, it has no effect on how long the night is. |
