I can't into that Probably the NYC area. I've been to a lot of places in the middle US. I've also been to Florida and really want to go back there also. I don't have huge desires to see the world as this country is really big enough for me to be perfectly happy with seeing things in Quote:
Is this supposed to be favorite file I made? Other than TGWPv2 it'd probably be BB Revenge or Electro Rush X2 I haven't checked out all or maybe not even the majority of your files, because I haven't really downloaded files since 2010. I mostly can only go off of your Xoon 5 and LCP files. Those were actually pretty good for someone pretty new to the thing. Lower/mid tier of Dark Chancellor rankings. (not a knock on you, because I consider myself on the low tier of dark chancellors) Last edited by Rebirth0; 09-17-2012 at 09:13 AM.. |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
Those wouldv'e been my middle school years I think. That was a pretty bad time for me, actually. Not much good came out of 2001 - 2004 except for joining this community and game.
I can say the 2006 - 2008 part (high school) was great though. Perhaps my favorite part of that was getting into football and watching almost every game our school played. Those last 3 years of high school we went 34-3 and won 2 state titles. The roadtrips were great, especially the playoff ones where you travel all throughout the state. Only reason I didn't play myself, was the metabolism I had from playing DDR/ITG at a high level kept me at 125 lbs no matter what I did. I wouldv'e wanted to be at least 140 before playing Last edited by Rebirth0; 09-17-2012 at 09:24 AM.. |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
Why do some of your files like BB Revenge and Blooddrunk have so many left hand patterns/trills? Are you left handed?

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
I wouldv'e liked to have kept it alive this summer and beyond, but it was honestly dead. Partly my fault because I gave up on trying to find people to help build onto it. Maybe it'll be back, I really don't know
I'm not left handed, but when doing trills, my left hand is faster. BB Revenge is purely pitch relevance and it just turned out that way. Blooddrunk was something I was paid to make for FFR. It was a widget file that wasn't planned on being in the actual game (originally, NONE of the widget files were ever supposed to go into the real game), so I kinda made a bullshit chart for it. That's why it has those giant one handed trills with jumpstream. Thought it was funny |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
Probably because I founded the Dark Chancellor group/mentality. Its pretty irrelevant nowadays though, considering people don't care about stepmania anymore
Oh well. Only thing that matters is that I know that I'm not gay. |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
Not a damn thing. There are some cases when I'm making files that I really care and will try to put effort into it to make it artistic and everything, but other times I won't. Many of my files were made to be played by myself and for me to enjoy. So I make files with styles/patterns that I like to play. This is mainly why almost all of my files are index friendly to a good degree. I play index and have for years
If anything, I've learned how to sync files really well when I did TGWP. Doing that made me play the game based on the music |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
who u
jk. TGWP and v2 clearly required a lot of time and effort to make. have you applied that kind of dedication to other projects you've done? if so, how did the projects turn out? |

Re: Ask a 9 year FFR Veteran/Simfile Artist anything
I actually don't think I've applied that level of effort to anything else. I've put some effort into college but not at that level. I did also put on a blitz to get a promotion when I got my first job, which I got after 3 months. They made me a manager the week I turned 18, which was the legal age for being managers.
I've never done anything like that for any other video game or something. |
