Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
I'm totally eating shit on this round 5 song, I should be at least 4-0-0-1 by now. Ugh.

Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
Ok, so in beatrice, at like 800 notes there's that weird 432143214321 run right
I had 2-0-0-0 right at that point, after that run I had 8-0-0-1

Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
Lucky you. I've asked for that part to be put on the Isolation engine as I either pick up 10-15 greats there, or have to sacrifice misses on the 2 notes before it in order to hit it well XD

Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
Righty, guess I should get some scores in here! A lot of them are basically sightreads, so I'll be back to improve them when I don't need to bust my ass as much to get through this tournament round. Just want get on the spreadsheet for now

Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
Hey, question for all you spread players: how hard is it to keep up your skill? If you don't play for a few days, can you pick up where you left off? Do you need to practice for a couple hours every day to get better a tiny bit at a time, like I do? I'm so freaking done with how much time this games takes for me. I really like playing it, but not the way it's going for me. I'm strongly considering quitting at this point so I have time to do my homework and stay in college. But if I could go spread and play for only a little bit every day or every few days, and still get better and eventually actually be in the skill range you guys are (it's taken me five years so far to get less than 50% good with one hand), then that would, I assume, be more enjoyable. I'm just frustrated with how little I keep improving, playing all the same songs and always messing up, and how much time it takes to work at getting better. Then again, if I quit I'm sure I'd manage to find something even less worthwhile to take that time and still not do work or anything productive. Ugh.

Re: ~*The D3 Rivalry*~
It took me a couple months to get use to spread from the old way i played (i still used two hands then but i used the arrow keys and 2 fingers right hand/1 finger left weird i know -.-) But once i started trying to play spread, I could not try going back to my old style or else I would just mess up even more and it delayed my progress. Once you get use to spread tho I think for me I skillboosted a ton, and sometimes even stopping for a few days at a time helped me even more than continuously playing everyday. So I think best I can say is, if you're still learning spread at first, stopping for a week and trying again might not be good since you're more use to your old style that early in trying to transition, (so technically a little bit each day is good at that point) but once you're use to it, skillboosting gets a lot easier and you don't have to play as often. And as i said stopping for a few days does help. (This is just my own opinion ofc might be completely different for you and others)

Though, my skill's at a standstill and I occasionally need a day or so to recover it back, for the most part I take around 1-2 days worth of practice to get back a skill drop by not playing for 4-5 days or so. Like I said, it really depends on the person. Usually you'd have a skill drop after not playing, and it'll take from a day to a week or so to get it back. There are some times when not playing at all would give you a slight skill boost, but I wouldn't count on it. ps Vince/HalfStep you're fucking gay |

Oops forgot! Everything is updated to here. wildfireskunk you were also put back on the spreadsheet
Couple scores I forgot to add: Also if you guys don't mind, for tourney songs (Entry/Beatrice) I added everyone's scores that showed up on the tourney dashboard who's on the spreadsheet to this point, makes things easier I think for the most part. |
