Microsoft Word and Powerpoint 2013
I have a Lenovo-style laptop for Windows 8, and apparently my Microsoft Word 2013 application is going to expire in five days unless I go to their website and pay approximately $150.
Don't the Microsoft Word and Powerpoint 2013 applications come with Windows 8? $150 seems ridiculous to have to pay, and I think read on their website that I need to pay this amount every year on top of that. Is there any way I can spend less for these products, or should I switch to a similar set of programs with less or no cost? I would rather stick with any version of Microsoft Word, but I'm not willing to pay over $100 for a computer program. Thank you in advance for your help!
