Nah man, you just gotta suck it up. You gotta have the backbone to want this, because weight lifting is 95% discipline. You'll be fine, just don't ever get up. If something knocks you down 7 times, get up 8. You know? Trust me, it is so much more worth it than you even realize, especially once you get to the point where you see the results you want.
