Thanks for Nothing's simple, up until the colour notes and shifty bpms, which threw me off there; nice one. While Tha Rekked Spinz is crazy with it's swing rhythm. While it's pulled off well, it's the main reason why I can't pass it consistently.

Can't wait 'til part tree.

shit I just played part 1. oops. well here goes

Apple Butter: wowow that was much tougher than I expected. minijacks are fun. the 12ths, etc. part is neato. I found some of the mine sections to be perhaps too dense relative to the music's intensity. will play again!!!!!!

Title Screen: hmmmmmm idk, not for me I guess. sometimes there were jacks or minijacks where I was all like, "why was that a jack and not that other sound?" I didn't think the little jumpglut bit at the end was very fitting. patterns flow well though. I think you could do much better with a different song.

VICTORY: omfg this rules :') I just wish I could pass so I could hear the full song. gr8 mashup.

phase 3 should be up within a week or two. i'm halfway through on like two files so whichever gets finished first is what i'll put into it

thanks for the reviews, while tha rekkid spinz is a bit crazy on the swing lol. title screen has some awkward jacks but i find them fun when i play it

oh hey ferrari, where can I get some of your other files? I know I was all neg-uh-tiv about Title Screen, but I evaluate based on what I think one is capable of. the accuracy, style, everything is all there for sure.

edit: iirc tsuka really liked red hot skull so i'd play that first. imo i step the full potential of the song, not really what i'm capable of. ie i wouldn't step something really bland and make it hard when it doesn't sound like it'd be a hard song

oh yeah, for sho. I was talking more about how I review files. if I'm giving feedback to a stepping nub, I'll be all like "gj just work on this and this next time." but if a simfile vet poops out a file that I find to be only okay, I'm more liable to say stuff like "THIS SUX BRO TRY HARDER."

bout to play the pt. 2 files in a minute here. I already have Mind Mapping so I'll play that too, and then I'll review that itt for no reason.

Thanks for Nothing - kool, I like it when people step songs from well-known artists. at first I disagreed with skipping the snares in the intro, but after playing the rest of the file and considering its overall structure, I saw what u did ther. mine-trailed note section was neat. not sure how the best way to go about it would be, but I thought the chorus could've used some more OOMPH. maybe step the guitar instead of the drums so you have an excuse to abuse hands? idk, but I would've liked for the chorus to be a little more intense. overall,




While the Rekkid Spins - I totally dig this one. the right arrows layered in during the DAN, DAN, DAN-DAN-DANDAN bit are mad fun. really liked most of the pattern choices, with the only exception being some minijacks that I thought were overkill. minor gripe. oh, and I think the BPM is too slow? I fixed the offset to match the very beginning, and I was getting greats at the very end. seems weird though, especially because you probably lifted the sync from the ITG file? maybe I'm just going insane??? anyway hella gr8 I give this one a

Mind Mapping - niiiiiice, I'm with moches on this one. like the little swing notes, like the holds, like the chill vibe. gonna play it again, and then I'll play it again.
