MULTIPLAYER BUGS ~ VERSION 2

All bugs for the latest version of Multiplayer are to go here. Post your bug, and if it is indeed a bug, one of the mods will edit it into this post. The bug will turn Green when it is fixed.

Current Bugs:

1) Random disconnects (shows "waiting for player X") when the multiplayer server becomes very busy.
2) After inactivity disconnect (3 mins), the multiplayer login and lobby/exit show up and overlap.

3) Opening a PM window, not typing anything and pressing OK results in the screen remaining dim (disabled mode)

Just once, after playing a few songs in multiplayer and then exiting multi, multiplayer didn't refresh. This was not re-creatable. At the same time, stats were not refreshing for single player, but that's not a problem with multiplayer.

I can't even get my multiplayer to connect. I just sits there with connecting.. over the lobby/exit choices.

I know this is happening to me, and it's been happening to me for months. People have said to wait and it'll go away, but that's not working..

Quick fixable: The recent multiplayer scores table is in a window that doesn't quite fit it. Not exactly a bug with multiplayer itself, or necessarily a bug, but it bugs me, and that's what counts.

Why cant we change the arrows way? I mean, I usually play with arrows coming down and in multi they are going up so I'm unable to play like this... Could you fix that or something?

It is only constricted slightly if you are running 800x600. That really is an old resolution, I would recomend using 1024x768. We really can't shirnk it down any more.

it wont load, it says its connecting but thats it, im using msn, could that have anything to do with it?

The only thing that i've noticed.. is when you and your oppenents game is about to load, right when you click the song, you are redirected to the FBI website...

So far happened twice out of 6 games or so.

I had the same problem as CyanoticXtC. Only this time it's when both of us have loaded -my opponent was a dial-up so it took some time waiting for him. When he did finish loading an error appeared sayiny something about an authentic error (??) and in a spilt second I was redirected to the FBI site: http://www.fbi.gov/

Not really a bug, and it may have been discussed elsewhere, but I noticed that the multiplayer button doesn't have a clickable background - it's just the logo and text. Whilst they're a bit hard to miss when you're clicking, I reckon a clickable background could be a bit more workable.

i have a problem with my rank. no matter how many people i play and beat it doesnt move. the bar or the number doesnt change and i was wondering if there isnt a way for me to fix it someone could look at it.

With the new skins, a few people and myself occasionaly have noticed that sometimes in the lobby, instead of saying who's chatting, it'll say "UNDEFINED:" for whomever. It's easily fixed by refreshing the page, and getting back into mp, but it's still a nuicance.

Emccky: We know you want reverse, you've only said it 100 times. As said on the main page, reverse won't be implimented until all other bugs are sorted out.

I was playing multiplayer when suddenly i was kicked out of the game in the middle of a song. After this happened i tryed to get back in but it said that my user name was already taken. now i cant get back into multiplayer because i am soposedly still on or something

I read all of the posts and I have the same problem as the people who get kicked out in the middle of a game and then can't get back in because it say's "username is already taken".

I didn't mind at first but it has happened to me about 10 times now and it is really annoying. I am on a fast computer with a fast internet connection and it still disconnects me. Please try and figure out why this happens. Thank's.
