Here is a list of stuff I have to complete this week.

Network Final (Easy) Thursday next week 8:00 am
Philosophy 3 Final (Normal) Thursday next week 3:00 pm
Programming Java 1 Final (Nightmare) Thursday this week. 8:00 am.
Multimedia (Flash/Photoshop) (Done, Easy)
Database (MySQL) (Done, Easy)
Linux (Done, Normal)

All my semesters so far are me having good grades on everything and failing programming. Maybe it's a sign.

Except that it is fairly common that they cover material from the entire course rather than just a portion as well as count for a greater part of your grade.

Oh yes because the fact I'm 18 and endured a whole quarter means I've never taken a collage level test. Really.

Most people get anxious for a final because of what Magic and Izzy said. But (this may sound a little over confident, it may not) I chose to think of a final like any other test. I've attended ALL of EVERY class period, I've taken notes and done my work and been doing well enough to where I'm satisfied (whatever satisfaction actually is), I should be fine with some review and making sure that I am relaxed and not stressing. My Psychology class has taught me that if you're over anxious and you cram, you are less likely to do well than if you've studied over a period of time and walk in confident.

That's my two cents on cramming/studying.

The only final I think I'll have to study more for than another class is math and making sure I make less errors. I know the material and know the formula's I just commonly make lot's of tiny writing/reading errors no matter my pace.

Which is all fine and well, but in college, tests have much more weight. Mistakes made are much more damaging. The material is harder. You're competing against a tougher crowd. Sometimes even if you stick with the material over the course of a semester, it's *still* hard. Not every class is easy by means of simply attending, paying attention, and doing the work. Some exams are not so light that you can pass them off as "any other test."

You have to take that stuff seriously -- having a good grade means a lot more in college.

take any course with a final that's worth 60% or greater, and you'll take those words back - especially a 100% final

College exams -- especially if you take hard majors at tough schools -- can be extremely brutal.

Real Analysis - Today in 4.5 hours
Basic Logic - 12/9 1pm
Networks - 12/10 5:30 pm

Only three tests, but Networks is one of the hardest courses in CMU..

Idk how it is at CMU but sometimes the proclaimed "hard courses" turn out to be fun and not-so-bad. At Wharton, the financial derivatives courses were considered pretty nuts by most even though they weren't that bad at all imo. Math/stats courses usually had pretty disgusting averages by comparison.

The hardest courses for me were accounting... hands down. I hate accounting. With a passion. I dreaded those finals so much.

Calc 1 final on Friday
World Civ 2 final on Friday
2 tests worth 50% of my grade in a Music class due on December 12.
Final exam in intro to Psych on Friday.
