Why ITG is stupid.

Ok I was playing some ITG2 yesterday with my RedOctane on SM, right?
Well I played the song 'Sunshine' on expert. That's a 10-footer.

Anyways.. I was doing good until these random bursts of arrows came up during the vocals.
I thought, "Now why would someone put a bunch of arrows while someone singing is holding the note?"

And then I quit because it was just stupid.
I notice that in a couple of other songs.

DDR - syncs songs
ITG - stupid jump obsessive steps.

ITG= experts

I like ITG better brings more of a challenge and its more fun.

also, Hardcore symphony is one of the craziest songs EVER! It is like a "very difficult" song on FFR. It has strings of 16th notes all over. Look it up on youtube.

But what fun comes through when you have to hit 4 arrows in one beep?
What I'm trying to say is that for every beep in a song ITG sometimes likes to add 2 or 3 arrows.

Yeah no doubt. Dude, its okay you can't handle ITG stepcharts, because DDR stepcharts are not only the blow, but yes..they do go beyond 10 feet. ITG makes it fun to step...double stepping(ddr) is ftl, if you even know what that means.

On a higher note, DDR cabs suck, and the sensors suck as well. ITG's mercury sensors are so precise, and you can play songs from FFR on it even, like uber rave!

Just because you can't do "a burst" doesnt mean ITG sucks.

To sum it all up...
-ITG's music is better
-ITG's cabs are better
-ITG=more advanced for people who have graduated DDR
-You can play extra songs that you upload from SM
and the R-bar if that means anything to anyone.

For one thing I can pass most 12-footers on ITG and ITG2.. and another thing. 'It cannot do anything?' I didn't understand what you were trying to say there.

It makes me wonder why people think ITG is so much better than DDR.
No licensed songs as an asset, and the steps are hard as hell.
No wonder ITG isn't as popular as DDR.
You could Sync a song more, by recording 8 times, once putting an arrow for bass, the next putting it for drums, the next for vocals....
It would suck.

actually id have to disagree...in the groove came out as a knockoff of DDR many years AFTER ddr came out. the first DDR contest was 2 weeks and 4 days AFTER the first DDR machine was created and assembled in an arcade.

Anyway, yes, ITG does seem to bring more of a challenge. I've seen sudden bursts in many stepfiles (Which include games outside FFR), and for the most part, they make sense.

I wouldn't be surprised to see bursts in DDR either.

Well, ITG might not be for kick ass players, but it does bring more of a challenge. I usually play Light Mode, and I tried Robotix..........
