Gun and Awein's Bracket Style Tournament
Everthing is EST. final round and third place round for college will end Jan. 5 10:00P.M. Rounds will be 2 days long
Your songs: College-Finals: Uber Rave V2: Purchased third place: CIA Rave: Dance 2 High School: Easy-Difficult: Irionman WINNER-5,000 credits Gun92 2nd place-2,000 credits ty77le77r77 3rd place-1,000 credits College: Tricky-Challenging Finals: WINNER: Tidus810: WINNER-6,000 V.S. 2nd place: Phynx: 2nd place-2,500 3rd place: remedy1502: 3rd place-1,500 Pro: Challenging-For Gurus Only [HectoGtzMX]: WINNER-6,000 credits Loot You: 2nd place-4,000 credits Credit distributions: Pro: 1st 6,000 2nd 4,000 College: 1st 6,000 2nd 2,500 3rd 1,500 High-School: 1st 5,000 2nd 2,000 3rd 1,000 Credits: remedy1502 10,000 mega huzzah awein999 12,000 Tidus810 5,000 huzzah ty77le77r77 1,000 total amount of credits 28,000 Most if not all of you understand how bracket tournaments work, if not, here is a quick example for you: Account 1 V.S. Account 2 Account 3 V.S. Account 4 Now say account 1 gets a AAA, account 2 gets a black flag (1-0-0-0), account 3 gets a 5-0-0-0 and account 4 gets a 3-0-0-0, it will look like this: Account 1(AAA) VS. Account 2(1-0-0-0) Account 3(5-0-0-0) VS. Account 4(3-0-0-0) Now after eliminations accounts 2 and 3 will be eliminated. It will look like this: Account 1 VS. Account 4 You can submit either a replay or a screen shot or both. Another unique difference is that as later rounds come, multiple songs will need to be played and submitted. (the actual numbers are not determined yet) The person who wins the majority of the songs wins the round. It doesn't matter how much better you do than someone on one song. A win is a win, a loss is a loss. To establish a 3rd place when it comes down to the semifinals, the losers will take eachother on. All names will be listed in random.org's list organizer and thus you will learn who you play. We will even post the randomized list for everyone to view so you don't think we stacked it in any way. So no whining about who you are placed against, we can do nothing about it. There will be 3 divisions. Please request what division you believe you are. We will base your placement on your request and your stats. High School (Standard) Easy-Difficult College (Advanced) Tricky-Challenging Pro (Master) Challenging-FGO We tried to pick a big enough gap on the off chance that a huge number of people join. Each round will have the same song for everyone in their respected division. If there is a tie, it results in a tiebreaker. If multiple tiebreakers occur in the same bracket, multiple songs might need to be chosen depending on the skill level of the players. Good luck to you all and hope you join up Last edited by awein999; 01-6-2008 at 02:15 PM.. |

Re: Gun and Awein's Bracket Style Tournament
I get the impression that you guys want more divisions but I didn't want to risk having too little people and too many divisions. It is possible I could make more divisions if enough people sign up. Gun is organizing the divisions.

Re: Gun and Awein's Bracket Style Tournament
I never bothered asking 'cos I was busy at the time...but why did I get eliminated in the first round although I beat my opponent? Just wondering

Re: Gun and Awein's Bracket Style Tournament
if that is true I obviously made a mistake and there is really nothing I can do about it now. All I can say is I'm sorry.
