Re: FFR T-Shirt "top 1000" '08
No, reason being profit. Only people who are on the shirt would buy it, and of course not all of them would buy it, therefore they would lose money making the shirts, which is what happened last time.

I'd buy one. :] Have top posters on the back, haha. Actually, yeah. Have the prolific posters somewhere.

Yeah, given that, obviously, no more than 1000 people would by it, and the shirt is more expensive than usual due to the large amount of print, it isn't profitable and will never be made.

The dollar sign always goes before the number.

Actually I do this all the time. Not intentionaly but it makes more sence if you think about it. Its 100 dollars ($) not dollars 100.
Edit: Sk8ter I would actually pay $100 for a shirt. EDIT2: Well make it cooler and not black tough black attracts dust and shows everything on it, make it like a less emo color, but not a gay color ether. Last edited by L0NEvvolf; 01-17-2009 at 08:51 AM.. |

1 step ahead of you. I was going to change the colors slightly and possibly the design as well.

Deal. I will make you a top 1000 shirt for that much money. Anyone else interested in a shirt can also buy one for $100. Actual price of shirt may vary, all proceeds will go to FFR.

Re: FFR T-Shirt "top 1000" '08
just make a limited number.
# of people that bought the shirts last year= print around that number this year. either they all will get bought or there will be a few leftovers. ps id buy 2 cuz my friends wants one with my name on it |

I don't see why this can't be done. Just call it "Limited edition or something", it's not necessary to get a whole bunch.

Not trying to sound rude or anything:
It's been asked countless times before--it won't happen. You can't simply say make the amount that people bought last year because you won't be able to predict how many will want to buy. If you make that amount, and people buy less than what is made, you have a huge deficit. It's not worth the risk. |

Here is an idea. Take orders and then at a set deadline order that many shirts. Make them pay ahead of time if you have to.
I want one too, now that I'm on it.... xD

Re: FFR T-Shirt "top 1000" '08
But the price won't be able to be set properly until after they commit to an order of a certain size. Bulk discounts and all.
They'd have to overcharge everybody on pre-orders and then refund the extra money after the fact, which is really a pain in the ass. |
