I need a 2 second delay in this mp3.
In the way beginning of this mp3 I need to insert a 2 second delay. Can someone either tell me an easy way to do this or do it for me, I'll give you the mp3 if you post you can do it yourself.

What for? If its in stepmania you can add a large gap to the file and it will wait at least 2 seconds if you want before the mp3 starts.

Izzy, that doesn't work, FFR will still cut off the beginning of your stepfile, doesn't matter what your gap is.

Audacity or Goldwave work well.

this royally aggravates me. no, i will NOT do it for you. you lazy SOB. what will happen is that notes will get cut off at the beginning of your file, and you will bitch about it. and other people will bitch about why it doesn't start at a logical place. and that is YOUR fault... not mine. i've made it VERY clear what is expected of you.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I actually like the random cutoff for some files where I don't know where to start lol

Re: I need a 2 second delay in this mp3.
I always use Audacity.
btw it's not 2 seconds. FFR only cuts off the first 30 milliseconds I think, but the "Ready" banner takes 1:30 seconds to move out. I usually use 1:30 delay, that's more than enough.

Re: I need a 2 second delay in this mp3.
It's too late, but the thread that says all the requirements for a file to be sent in says 2 second delay. They should fix that..

Re: I need a 2 second delay in this mp3.
hi19: FFR cuts off the first 36 frames. which is 1.2 seconds. then the READY stays up for about the 1st 75 frames, which is 2.5 seconds. the 2 seconds is to make it simple so that you don't get notes in the 1st 1.2 seconds. much easier to say 2 than to say 1.2.
also, thechild... batch closed yesterday. your file will be in the next batch. likely time of judgment... 6-8 weeks.
