Default 300 SDG?

I'm wondering if it's going to possible...do you think it'll be possible for me to SDG 300?

Also when I do this, I'll be posting every score I get as I get closer to the SDG.
Shouldn't be too hard honestly...

Why would you make a thread for something like this when you could have personally asked people?

With how your scores are at the moment, I don't foresee you getting this anytime soon. 300 is a lot tougher than it looks to score on with those split jump patterns near the end. The song has a relatively low AAA count for an FMO too (only 38).

300 isn't terribly hard. I would play with sounds on to pick up the speed changes.

And people were recommending this to me for an oni get....

No freakin way.

BB, maybe if you memorize some of the patterns you could graze a SDG.

@ Everyone else: There have been threads that are A LOT stupider than this one.

Well AJ, if I ask people personally I get ignored so I'd rather make a thread so that I can track my score every time I get closer to the SDG. And the ending part, I AAA'd that whole ending so it shouldn't be hard at all.
@Rushy-Patterns I managed to mesmerize them.
@Revolution-I also play with sound haha :P

No need for an answer from others, go play it and determine if you can do it or not yourself.

I just want other people's opinions. I just want to see who the nice people are.

Practice, and you might be able to in the future. I don't see it happening soon though.

Whether or not someone is nice is completely irrelevant to what is realistic or probable

If you can tell Brian, I do practice a lot, espically speed wise >_>. 300's patterns are no problem for me now. All I need to work on is patience

Quit trying to seek attention and find out yourself.

EDIT: If you want my honest opinion, I'd say no if you continue to ask people... Playing FFR is the only way to SDG FMOs.

EDIT TWO: So what's the point in asking if you think you can do it? -.-;

It's not all that probable because your levelranks indicate that you have a rough time even consistently SDGing level 8 files. Level 9's and 10's are a fair bit harder than 8's.

Especially for something like 300, you need a fair bit of control over your keystrokes because you not only have to time long minijacks well, but you need to be fast and accurate enough to handle the splitjumps at the end. I see this as being difficult for you to do unless you can master 8's and 9's first. But going straight for 300 right off the bat is not going to do you much good, imo.

So what do you suggest since you AAA'd DP? Like what songs do you think might help me prepare for this long journey to the SDG'ing world of 300? Any tips? Hints?

My method of practice is different from most (I like to break files up and master pieces in sections with their respective braindead transitions in order to maximize muscle memory efficiency). I am not really a fan of "Whore the song in its entirety over and over again until you start to get it right." It's a lot like learning piano. You practice the parts you need.

But isolation, in my opinion, is more effective for people who already have a fair grasp of the game. It wouldn't make sense to tell a piano student to practice a particular section when they can't even handle certain fundamentals yet. A certain level of base skill is required.

In this case, since 300 requires the ability to jack and do splitjumps (all at high speeds), I'd look at files of difficulty 8/9 that train these skills the most profoundly. Don't even touch 7's anymore. Work until you can AAA 8's and SDG 9's. From there, you'll have a better shot of practicing 300 until you SDG it.

Tips: To me, 8's and 9's help you create a better foundation of precisely hitting 4ths, 8ths and 16ths. Also, it introduces some 12ths, 24ths, and occasionally 32nds, so it stresses transitioning between 16ths to 24ths and so on. Some 9's also stresses the transition of increasing bpm, which 300 has. So begin focusing on 8's and 9's and make sure you are nailing those 16ths, 8ths and 4ths. Also, work on transition.

Then once you master that, work on consistently AAAing 10's which stresses the consistency of streams, and introduces some awkward patterns. It also creates a foundation of the transitioning between 16ths to 24ths and etc. So nail that as well.

After succeeding in that, you should be able to SDG 300.
