The Next Floor
The Next Floor
Well, it's been a while since I thought a game worthy of it's own thread, here it is. You're a lone gunner, armed with a pistol and your trusty Turrets! There are these...weird black things coming towards you, you must defeat them, or they will destroy your elevator, causing it to fall down to it's demise! =O You can have up to 7 elevators at once, with up to 3 turrets in each elevator. There are 5 different Turrets to choose from: Turret Gun: Standard turret gun, medium fire rate. Machine Gun: Stronger than the Turret Gun, fast fire rate. Power Blast Cannon: Does no damage, pushes the enemies back. (Can be very useful in later levels) Rocket Launcher: Very strong, large blast radius, slow-medium fire rate. Laser Cannon: Very strong, shoots a laser beam through all enemies on the floor. 15 Levels, each causing you to vibrate harder and faster on your mouse. (You also get to see Tasselfoot's name in the credits if you win, liek omg.) Last edited by ~HentaiXXX~; 08-4-2009 at 05:43 PM.. |

Re: The Next Floor
If you click fast enough, you can do better than some of your minor turret shafts. =)
5592 kills in 15 days. Day 15 is ridiculous as anything, my computer almost froze up.

Re: The Next Floor
Finally a very original, and well executed game. Haven't seen one of those in at least 6 months.

Re: The Next Floor
i did a bunch of balance work for the game... it was way easier initially. also did some bug testing and other gameplay feedback.
i've been doing that for a lot of Armor's games recently... but this was the first time I was given actual credit for it. 3rd time overall i've been mentioned in one of John's games. v1.1 of Achievement Unlocked had "beware of looming Tasselfoots" on startup. and Llama Adventure has a Tasselfoot/Rubix easter egg in it.

Re: The Next Floor
Olawd, I found a couple of glitches. The game quickly lagged enough to render my manual shots useless. Shooting fast meant I couldn't use the elevators, as my guy would continue shooting for up to a minute just because my PC was so far from processing the speed of my shots. d; At one point I tried to pause - not before trying to move an elevator, so the elevator closed and the game paused, and once I unpaused it, the elevator wouldn't open again. This left me with 5 elevators for the rest of the game. I finished it anyway, because lasers are overpowered.
It was okay. |
