Salad for your Teusday
Ironic todays teusday huh..
It seems like the BNS song "Salad For Your Teusday" is a bit off sync, does anyone know by how much its off by? I can AAA 11s and 10s but not a difficulty 4, sucks.. haha. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Salad for your Teusday
It's intentional, most of the Legacy files are offbeat. Just try to read it arrow per arrow instead of pattern per pattern.

This. Mute the song and just play by eye.

Re: Salad for your Teusday
well yeah, but the new engines allow you to set a frame offset, this number is what i'm after in order to fix it :>

Re: Salad for your Teusday
If you totally play by ear and hit notes too early or late based on what you hear, you'll want to try to change the offset.
If the song is simply offbeat, you'll have to concentrate a little more and somehow deal with it. |

Frame offset is like calibration or whatever on Rock Band

Re: Salad for your Teusday
best advice I can give it to just keep increasing the frame offset until you can find it.

Re: Salad for your Teusday
You're still mainly going to have to go by vision on the legacy files for the most part. Not sure how bad Salad For Your Tuesday is in terms of the overall sync but files like SSSG and Rondo Alla Turca are impossible to make onsync by simply changing offset since the old files were made with notepad or a frame recording program (see Synth's files with the "jumps" that are actually 1 frame gallops)

Re: Salad for your Teusday
answer^
It's not like the file is just shifted 1/4 beat off, there's weird offbeat crap all over the place, unfixable by using an offset.
