kotor question

do any of you guys have lag problems with your kotor on xbox?
i mean i had the first kotor for the computer and i just figured it was my computer, but when i got it for my xbox it lagged up and froze too.
and its been doin it for quite a while with kotor 2 on my 360.
it really bothers me because its ruined some of my favorite characters and it shouldnt happen on console games.
is there anything i can do to fix it?
