OpenGL and Direct3d???
Ok so I reformatted my laptop because it was way slow and used a an XP disc that I found laying around to upload windows. I guess the disc was from 2002... so I fixed that my downloading Service pack 2 and 3. So I go to play StepMania and it's telling me that Direct3d and OpenGL graphics acceleration are not detected. Can I download anything to fix this or do I have to buy a new video card?

Re: OpenGL and Direct3d???
If it worked before reformatting, you probably just need to find and install the graphics card drivers.

Re: OpenGL and Direct3d???
Since you reformatted your laptop it is likely that they may have removed the graphic cards drivers so you are either reinstalling the drivers from a disc that came with your laptop or downloading the drivers for your card from the manufacturer of your graphic card's website. If you do not know what graphic card you have then go to control panel then system and find device manager and under display adapters should be the name of your graphic card.

Pretty much what they said. Update your video card.
or get the drivers from the manufacturer website (I had to do that with mine) |
