FFR on Graphing Calculators?
I have a TI-89 Titanium calculator and I get very bored in my classes. Does anyone know any rhythm games like FFR that I can download?
And would anyone have enough knowledge to make a game program similar to FFR? |

There are a lot of versions of ddr. I don't know which version is best. Edit: According to the site ddr2.zip is the best.

Re: FFR on Graphing Calculators?
I checked out the site linked to earlier, and those games are specifically designed for TI-83/84 calcs. I don't know if they'll work on 89s, but I found a DDR simulator made for the 89 here. From what I can tell by the file description, it randomly generates arrows for you at three different difficulties and four different "song" lengths (short, medium, long, and "endurance," which is basically nonstop mode).
It calculates arrows hit and arrows missed, and gives you a percentage. There's no timing system beyond hit or miss apparently. EDIT: Here's a list of 89 games for your pleasure: http://www.ticalc.org/pub/89/basic/games/ Last edited by Relambrien; 10-5-2007 at 06:49 PM.. |

Re: FFR on Graphing Calculators?
i've had ffr (the ddr2.zip file quoted from above) for about a month now... (for the ti83+/ti84)
what i've gotta say is, it SUCKS without music XD also, it's a lot easier on the calculator because its all full notes so you never have to mash the buttons on your calculator. i guess its a good thing though, or the keys would probably break pretty fast haha also, some people have made ffr rips into the ti83+/ti84 calculators. they aren't nearly as good though, the ddr2 one is better. maybe the one for ti89 will be better in terms of quality. give us some feedback after you try it! |

Re: FFR on Graphing Calculators?
not yet, I'm not quite sure how to download games onto my 89
I had falldown, mario, and jezzball on my old one but my friend just transfered them from his 89. I'll try to get it on mine right now EDIT: I downloaded all the software and connected the 89 to my computer, but everytime i try to drag the game into the cal folder, it says Error, the file is corrupt

Re: FFR on Graphing Calculators?
Perhaps you should re-download the file. If that doesn't work, find a different site that hosts the file.
