Re: Sup TWG28.
Wilkin
Setup 16 players: 11 - humans 1 guardian 1 seer 3 wolves To replace the MW, there would be a new role, the Wolf Mark. Each night, the wolves would choose someone (a human/blue), separate from their kill, to bear the Wolf Mark. This would make a human appear as a wolf when seen by the seer, creating a rift in the alliance system. If the Mark is killed, then the wolves will choose a new Mark the next night. This will make the alliance system more complex, and put more hesitation on the seer if a wolf is found. The game can be done in several combinations (humans and blues/wolves): 15/3, 13/3, 11/3, 13/2, 11/2, etc., whichever everyone believes to be a fair ratio, concerning the circumstances. The story, however, would take place at a high stakes poker tournament. Every kill would be told, in epic detail, as one of the players busting out. Then, the winning players would be the ones to finally win the money. Open for suggestions. TASS COMMENTS: Question first... if the Mark is NOT lynched/wolfed, will that same person remain the Mark in the future? Or, will it be as you stated... each night the wolves have the option to change or keep who the person is? IMO, a better way to do it (maybe not better, but more balanced) would be to make 1 human the Mark from the start. Don't tell them, or they'd likely come out at the start of day 1 saying "I'm the Mark". Clearly they'd realize it if they were attacked... but likely the 1st wolf attacked via a seering would claim the same thing. In either case, it seems the seer would rather seer humans than wolves, as humans would be 100% confirmed. Yes. The more I think about it... the Mark would be like the Devil, only he still wins with the humans and doesn't know he is the Mark... but for the rest of the humans, they have to act as if there are 4 wolves, and be willing to sacrifice the Mark, should he be seered. The lack of the MW balances the 4 seered wolves and no psychic. That is my opinion... would be willing to discuss it further via AIM.

Re: Sup TWG28.
Wilkin agrees, and his Mark role will be set as 1 player from the start who will NOT know that he is the Mark. No MW.
nForcer Boring, boring. Let's do something different for a change, shall we? This TWG will be Phoenix Wright themed. 16 players, 1 guardian, 1 seer, and 3 wolves, one master. Seems like a standard game, but this will include a new role, which for the sake of the theme, I will call the PROSECUTOR. The Prosecutor is neither human nor wolf. Each night, beginning with Night 1, the prosecutor must call a "witness," who will be added to the prosecution team. If the Prosecutor can call three witnesses and keep them all alive for one day, the prosection team wins, and all remaining humans and wolves lose. Of course, there are a few loose ends with this role, so I'll fix them up for best understanding. - The Prosecutor can only call plain humans as witnesses. He will told that his choice failed, and nothing more, if he chooses a wolf or special role. - The Prosecutor is immune to wolfings. If a wolf kill fails, they will be told whether it was due to a guarding, or if they tried to hit the Prosecutor. The only way to kill the Prosecutor is by a lynch. - The Prosecutor's picks are not told who picked them, only that they were picked. - If the seer tries to see the Prosecutor, they die. Oops. - Humans will win before the prosecution team wins. If the humans lynch the last wolf on the same day the Prosecutor has called a third witness, the prosecution team loses and the humans win. - Members of the prosecution team are not humans. They revert back to human status if killed, or if the Prosecutor dies. If there's something else that seems to be dangling there, please let me know and I'll clarify it, or modify the rules a bit. Needless to say, this game embodies a lot of mystery and hectic strategizing, especially because there is no way to know how close the prosecution team may be to winning. Heavy activity is the only way to make this game work. nForcer says he'll tweek the game like stated last host signups again this time around... I just c/p'd his PM from last game, but I think we made 1 or 2 slight changes since then. I'm also waiting for Mead to get back to me, because his current PM idea is full of holes and I want to talk to him about it before I post it, but I want to post it before I open things for voting.

Re: Sup TWG28.
Y'know what? Screw Mead's crappy not-balanced game....
Wilkin vs nForcer. GO GO GO! PS - nForcer's game was changed from 3 witnesses surviving 1 day to 2 witnesses surviving 2 days, and upon reaching 2 witnesses they can't recruit a 3rd. So the same 2 must survive both days (2/3, 3/4... etc). Wilkin. I'm not in the mood for a 3-way game. Last game, it was the best of the options. But I like Wilkin and I like his idea.... plus, I helped to change it (then again, I helped change nForcer's too). But, yea. Wilkin. Signups will start at 5pm and 10pm tomorrow, not 11pm.

I heard Wilkin is a wolf.
Oh. That's right. We're host voting. I really just don't like nforcer's game idea. It's too original to be good.

Re: TWG XXVIII Host Voting NOW (Signups Thurs 5/10pm). Go go go!
I demand to be Phil Hellmuth. He is the perfect poker player comparison for me... brash, outspoken, egotistical.... but is extremely talented.
That is assuming that we all get to be random pros. If its just us playing one big game of cards.... then it should at least be like, 2 tables of 8 to start, broken down to 1 table of 10 upon reaching that point.... meh. I'm sure you can handle it (and if you can't, expect harsh criticism on your story).
