(28433*2^7830457)+1 is prime!!!
ZOMG another Sierpinski number ruled out!
Yeah, remember that team effort deal about a dozen people joined last year and only I kept going? Well, they ruled out another Sierpinski number, bringing the total down to I believe ten values for k (from the original seventeen). The new prime comes out to be 2,357,207 digits long. So, yeah, this excited me, and hopefully some other math nerds, so I figured I'd share the news. Oh, and now Team FFR is up to #82 overall, from starting around 225 or so. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

It'll put restless minds at ease and demonstrate the power of collective processing.
