this is what happens when you stop playing for 7 years
or so? Last time I played was in 2006. I filled the time with WoW raids and real life stuff.
Got back into it because I felt a wild hair. I'm hoping to start improving again, and moreover gain my stamina back. Note: I was one handed before, and I am still one handed. I stick with the older files because a lot of the newer ones are just way too hard for me to even think about passing right now. The songs I'm posting, in 2006/7 I was working on AAAA on V, AAA on Senorita, and FC on Love Tropicana (actually was very quickly approaching AAA at the same time with the FC if I recall correctly). This is what it looks like now. Posting to establish a base of where I am now and hopefully keep motivated to keep improving... |

Oh man, good to see you again qualy! The one-handed community isn't quite what it used to be, but there are still a few players who post scores and this play-style seems to be on a recent comeback
If you're interested in some newer simfiles, check this thread: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=133223 |

qualy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you had almost quadded V? jesus. there are some newer simfiles which should be in the difficulty range you're looking for. I would highly recommend the FFR Community Pack series. the oldies are great too though |

A fellow one hander returns? I must comment! From what I remember about Love Tropicana that file is pretty tricky one handed on account of all the freezes. Seniorita isn't bad, either - but I only *barely* remember that file so maybe my judgement is a bit off.
Keep up the good work, and I hope you get back into playing one handed full time!

Thanks guys for the warm welcome also, what's the version of SM people are using nowadays? I downloaded SM 5 just because it was the most recent version but it seems like people don't really use it from posts I've seen here.
Haha I expected danceguy to be the only one who remembered me |

o/
I think it's a 50/50 split in our community between using SM5 and using older versions. 3.95 is still pretty sturdy, and 3.9+ (I think that's the version) can be used to play online. I'm a fan of SM5 myself. gotta have that Ultralight theme. it looks like Jousway's site is down at the moment? that's where a lot of people grab themes and noteskins. I don't have a lot, but if you're interested, I can dropbox some for ya! |

SM5 theme is definitely nice to play with the ultralight theme. Simple, yet very effective. 8)

Re: this is what happens when you stop playing for 7 years
that's a serious bummer, wow. maybe we should get a collaborative project going where we make (non-simfile) SM resources available?
