Many songs wont play, or need to be 'tried again'

Every single time I am set to play FFR for a break from the rest of the internet, I'll choose a song like normal, but even after it loads, the 'ready' sign does one of a few things, it either: Never shows up and I have to boo out, or it comes late and sends me to the score screen, or sometimes it does actually play the song, but it is always off sync notes, slow arrows, or none at all. You can actually check my last played games to see the zeros or negative scores I have to get just to play a song.

Believe me, I have cleared my cache multiple times, closed my browser, restarted my computer, and much more. This whole thing started happening after one of the bigger updates I think. During that time I saw some others with their scores being zeros every other game played, but recently, a few I've checked have gone back to normal. Playing two or three times just so I can get a score is very annoying. Can anyone tell me a solution despite the measures I've taken to try and solve it.

(btw, using Mozilla Firefox, although it worked fine before, I'm not sure if it's the cause now.)

I get this a lot too. The same exact thing. However, I haven't been getting it as much as before the .702 update.

Get the same thing most of the time I play, but I deal with it...

...just end up messing up the song the first time, and playing it perfectly the 2nd.

Well, this means we have some interesting to troubleshoot. Can any of you do a camtasia type of video capture to show me exactly what you are doing and what you see? I would love to tackle this and see exactly what is triggering it for you.

The video should also show you clearing your cache prior to trying to play. Upload the video to youtube and link me.

If you are incapable of recording a video, lets get chatting and see what we can do to help.

My gut instinct on this tells me 1 or 2 things. Either there is a corrupt, half loaded level that thinks it is full loading. Or.. Something is not finishing it's loading before you load the level. Like the multiplayer module etc.

this happens to me too, thats why i have so many games played, i think it was the computer, or mozilla, cause i use mozilla also, and my computer is kinda messed up, so i always assumed it was one of the two, because many websites dont work as well in mozilla

i'm sure it also has something to do specifically with FFs settings... i guarentee nobody who has had this problem is using IE.

I've noticed Macs have this problem but I've never had this at home, except p4u lol.

Agreed, ever since I started using IE for FFR, I've never had problems.

I have tried this on Firefox, IE, and Opera and I get the same problem. The only difference is the frequency. I get this problem more on Opera than I do the others, but IE seems to work the best. As I said, before .702 I got this problem no matter what song I played. After the update it only happens every couple songs.

yup, also if you have anything going on in the background it seems to happen about 50% more so you gotta boo out and retry

Well, seemingly, it never once did it before the .702 update when i started using mozilla ( since IE now takes a minute to open ) IE always worked fine and never had any problems, i just would like to know why it started abruptly. Anyways, to synth, I'd make a vid, but i don't have a camera, the web cam is on the other computer, and the last time i tried to make a youtube account, it never went. HOPEFULLY this will get fixed because getting 2-3 games added for one true play is absolutely ridiculous.
