remind me to slap carlos for his file.
kneesocks should probably be a 10, but that trill is sexy. the rest is great.

Jessie's chart looks overstepped and that trill is full blown retard mode at it's finest. No offense Jessie but what the hell man... What where you thinking x.x'
Also how the hell can that be treated as a 9? |

Re: Songs of the Week (June 1, 2012)
Car Sax: SO RIGID, HOLY HELL. These patterns are nasty (in terms of difficulty). I still find the file fun though, haha. It's hard to not like this song.
CORETOON: Rougher than I expected - some pretty tricky pattern transitions and a few frame discrepancies, but enjoyable overall. Worthy contender in terms of difficulty for a 10 -- I can certainly think of a few FMOs that are easier than this (Makiba comes to mind). Favorite of the week. LUV TO ME 2011: bmah forever inducing nerves in players on Velocity engine with another 9 with an extremely round notecount (remember Elegante?). As far as the simfile -- typical bmah chart rhetoric with a great song to boot. Nicely done as usual, bmah. Star Wars Anthology: Really draggy to me - song could have definitely used a little bit of a chop for sure. The chart itself was alright; I wasn't a fan of some pattern placement causing repeated taps for no discernible reason, but there clearly was an understanding of relevance towards the melody and the overall structure of the song, so I definitely respect that. Totsugeki! Glass no Kneesocks: Interesting chart. Very basic structure in the chorus areas, but it fits nicely. I was a big fan of the "cuckoo" sound being accented with white notes, although I must say it was as distracting in the chart as it was in the song...! That 24th trill caught me off-guard too, but managed to push through it on my second run (first run being a fail out after the 12th step and a double-trigger - thanks laptop). |

It honestly wasn't even that bad, from what I remember judging it, so don't be so hard on yourself. There's always room for improvement.

Re: Songs of the Week (June 1, 2012)
Car Sax: Feels forced. Steps seemingly dumped everywhere for the sake of making it difficult.
Coretoon: where the hell do you people find these songs to step lol. dem rolls.. Luv to me: It's like you found evilpeer somewhere in this city and added layering or something Star wars: well.. long and kind of drawn out. seems the stepper already knows that so Totsujapan: no credits to spare sry |

Re: Songs of the Week (June 1, 2012)
Coretoon was extremely fun, lol fart sound. Difficulty wise because of a couple of the bursts and the two js bits in the middle it's right on the 10/11 border but there are definitely harder 10s (BRWP, LW4 etc)
Car Sax reminded me of Ripoff, although that one is a lot more enjoyable to play for some reason Star Wars was yeah, kinda too long, but it was actually pretty fun before that. The ending was ~most impressive~ - also, it might be a 9 because of the last part which is significantly tougher than the first ~2:30 LUV TO ME was fun to play through as usual |
