FFR Stuff

Tried using the standalone and it works great, here's some scores I got today (most plays I did were sightread AAAs on 9s so there's not a TON of scores. I'm still getting used to reading FFR though, my pattern recognition is so fine-tuned to SM it's hard to get used to a different look

Took a couple restarts cuz my speed mod wasn't figured out quite yet...this was literally the first song I tried

Basically sightread...I think this is a 10 though so no idea why I posted this lol

Then I realized my avatar was a chick lmao had to fix that one

Ouch...hadn't played this since avmiss era and let me tell you, it's wayyyy easier now lol

Sightread...there's such a huge gap between some 11s, this was super easy imo

Took a couple tries cuz my eyes kept watering. Don't you hate when you can't get your eyes to stop watering?!!

These next few aren't good rank-wise cuz I suck at avoiding misses but meh

PA? I can hit everything save for the white note bullshit which I need to mash

This wasn't even that solid can def improve, I'd imagine it won't last long in the top 10 lol

Sick sightreads on Gacha Gacha and Miss Candy. You can def improve the FGOs once/if you get used to reading FFR.

You should try 2.25x because in my experience .25 intervals play way smoother. I even remember Eze saying how 2.55x stuttered and that 2.5x was easier since it was more fluent as well.

Alright, 2.25x should be comfortable enough, if you notice some of the earlier scores I got I was using 2.215x which felt really slow after a couple songs, hopefully 2.25x is fast enough =P

Staiain uses 2.3x on FFR actually (I use 2.2 myself lol), 2.25 is pretty good.

Have you tried changing the noteskin? There are various noteskins available now, and you're not exclusively stuck to the FFR noteskin anymore.

Yeah I was using orbular for a while (the scores with the chick avatar were done with orbular too) but it made my eyes go squirrely so I reverted back to the ffr noteskin

have you tried out the r^2 engine? it seems to run smoother for me and i can read patterns better on it for some reason. also there's a little more customization to it.
