Well, I opened up Internet Explorer, and found something people, especially those that are religously associated, should have been talking about a while back.

Excerpts of an interview between a journalist and a Protestant minister that discuss about how the events in the Middle East hint the prophecies of the Bible, and the biblical end of the world.

Battle of Armageddon: All the good African forces fighting all the evil Arab forces.

We're actually a lot further into the end times than people realize. What about all these disasters that are happening? Horrible tsunami, the recent hurricanes? What about the breakout of new diseases and viruses--AIDS, Avian Flu?

Of course, there will be millions and millions of people to deny that anything is happenening. They still believe the little stories of how the universe just happened one day and how humans came from fish.

But let's still try to keep this away from discussing evolution/creationism and keep to the OP, okay?

Honestly, I don't see this as any more of an end times possibility than any time before. Horrible tsunamis and hurricanes have been ravaging the Earth for its entire history. Bird flu? You really think that's a serious concern? Pfft. What about the bubonic plague that ripped through Europe, killing over two hundred million people, after the biggest crisis in the middle east: the crusades?

This is one reason to not think that we're all about to die; people have been claiming that since Jesus died. This concept makes for good Christians, but poor doomsayers.

Down through the years that’s true. But never the accumulation of events as we have today. I have often said that no one knows the day nor the hour that Christ will come, but no generation has had so many signs of the times as our generation. We have more reason to believe that Christ could come in our lifetime than any generation before us

Atleast, not involving the return of Christ anyway. People need to stop taking the bible seriously, and this guy clearly does, so noone should take seriously an ounce of what he's saying. XD

Oh yes I am quite familiar with it.

It's actually pretty sad. I don't really have much to say on the topic though, and can't really do anything other than shake my head and get a chuckle out of it.

These people are almost excited about the end. There is religion and being religious and then there is being delusional and just outright ridiculous. XD
