The day I actually say I'm going to be active, it's impossible for me to be active because of doing my grandfather's errands, and my family's passive-aggressive "quality time" fuckery. Saying that I need to get out of the house and stop being so shut in, all that shit. I do get out of the house, it's just that they never hear about it, and I do interact with people. But they don't want to hear any of it. Sitting in a dark theater together is not "quality time", and it's kind of counterproductive to be staying out till midnight for a fancy Italian dinner when I have to work the next goddamn day. At least the movie (Escape Plan) wasn't terrible. But still, ugh.

Trust me, though, if I had refused, I'd have had an even bigger whopper of a day foisted on me somehow. They're like that.

tl;dr I got jerked around all day and now I'm pretty miffed and tired.

Early thoughts:
I see the shitposting epidemic has not yet subsided.

I have no metagame to go off since I am far too lazy to read through the previous games, but Krauthammer seems like a pretty neutral first night kill. We have an eclectic mix of both people and communication so I don't really know what to think about it. Really sucks that you didn't get to play a "traditional" TWG (although if this were really traditional, we'd be using AIM only.)

I just realized how powerful the tracker really is. It practically makes orb power counterclaims suicide for the wolves, and if anything is used in a suspicious manner, the Tracker can, with careful discretion, call said person out and hopefully catch a wolf in the process. As a corollary of the above, I'm not sure what to think of Jrodd and Xiz. While filling the thread with fluff doesn't help humans one bit, their advocacy of different orb uses are ambivalent. First, as to jrodd's suggestion, I would think that anyone with a brain would've figured out by now that using a vigi Night 1 would be extremely suspicious, as it implies that you cared for naught except killing someone - a sure wolf trait. I have little doubt that the Tracker would just come right out and roast your ass, for very good reason. If you're a wolf, congrats, your team is one down the first day with the humans hardly lifting a finger. If you're a human, you'd better have a DAMN good reason for killing the person you did, otherwise, prepare to be a pointless human lynch. Of course, jrodd could be "idea baiting", putting out that unsound strategy in the hopes that it would be tried. Obviously, it didn't work. Xiz on the other hand advocates sitting on the vigi until later when more information starts to flow. Again, this kinda goes both ways. Humans need to use the vigi kill judiciously and responsibly, and the wolves have to fake using it responsibly.

I honestly don't quite remember where I was going with this.

I have 6 hours and shrinking to sleep, so, tomorrow is another day.

Marf, hi there, everyone. I have been taken to the family farm for the weekend. Helped pack a lot of boxes on Friday, had to be a part of another all-day family meeting about preparing the value of my grandmother's estate on Saturday. Haven't had time, and I never know when I'm going to get whisked away. Only on right now just to check the End of Night 1 Post and say this, so I haven't gotten to read the past 100+ posts yet. More family stuff to do today. Will get taken back to Denton some time in the afternoon or evening, not sure when. But at that time, I'll be able to catch up and contribute and all that good stuff. Sorry for the inactivity! Will try to give a warning when I can about this sort of thing.

orbs can't be used during the day. you bring up an important point though.

we should control the vigi kill. to do so, we should come to a consensus by the end of this day phase. we pick a vigi target; if that target does not die during night 2, then tracker claims and we lynch the orb holder.

just an idea. thoughts?

AIM is bad tho

this whole post is very commentary mode and not showing any real thinking about the game. vigis in this game can be compared to seerings especially since we need to use it to get any more seerings. using it early on >>>> later imo, killing a green accidentally now and getting that info would be better than holding it, making the wrong decision and killing a green later in addition to not getting any new seerings

what happened to NetJet/me, I seemed to have dropped completely out of this read and the only thing that happened in between was me overreacting to getting trolled.

whats wolfy about netjet to you exactly, it hasn't been very well defined. especially since he had the seer orb do you think he's w/w with sunfan? I don't, do you think he's w/v with sunfan? maybe, interesting you put him at the top of your list now

that's actually a good way of looking at it. Using the vigi orb early to rotate the orbs and get more seerings. I like that.

let's do it just after the lynch. also tracker might want to consider coming out to thesunfan, if you trust the seering result it would be beneficial to have a tiny bit of an alliance
