@YoshL, Maybe, but it really doesn't seem like it to me. I think we should leave j-rodd alone, at least for now, since he could very well be a townsperson who would like to be the leader.

Vic, you're wrong. There's plenty here in terms of establishing a base picture of each person. You don't go out and nab a wolf right away, you establish a standard for each person and look for wide deviations from that standard.

you don't have to worry about wide deviations from the standard viccica. I can guarantee you she is going to play really lazily, passively, and she is going to do nothing to help catch a wolf ever. I can't wait to see what boring poorly thought out non-committal nonsense she spews out this game.

Why? Because viccica is currently hands down the worst fucking player in this community. And she has committed to improvement in the past and then just shat diarrhea all over the bed sheets.

This isn't FFYa anymore viccica, we are no longer playing a meta of inactivity and shots in the dark near the end of the day phase. I know you are used to playing with people who intentionally play the same way every time so they don't ever have to be uncomfortable, but that has changed.

Step it up.

I just don't want him to be killed if he's really a townsperson. I think he's the least suspicious because he states his opinions on a lot of things, and he's not very cautious about what he says.

can you really defend that though? yes he does state his opinion alot, and uh... caution? you have to be hella careful what you say lest you get read as a wolf. You need to be cautious even as a townie, because you don't want to be read as a wolf. This kinda leads me to think that you're a wolf that hasn't really been thinking in a town mindset. It's been pretty clear that, as a townie, you need to be cautious. Hell, you need to be cautious with whatever role you are.

Potentially a massive slip up on your part, or just that you're new to this game. Either way, pressure's really on now. What do you have to say for yourself?

you should temper your confidence right now. you may be a confirmed human leader, and it must feel very nice to have this sense that people will respect what you say, but you more than anyone should feel a sense that what you say will shape the way this game moves, and that you need to make sure that when you take a shot your aim is impeccable. take long deep thoughts after every post you make, maybe 1-2 minutes, and ask yourself whether or not YOU, our leader should say these things.

YoshL being a confirmed human is cool. Your input will be highly valued during day 1, Use it wisely.

I'm going to call manti here for reals. Manti more than anyone knows that on day one how things flow out is just random fucking chaos.

Day 1 is mostly noise and searching for associations is useless either way. How does a confirmed human given me more valuable insights than others? I am depending on someone's opinion, which are often flawed because this game is really hard. The only time someone being confirmed helps me is that it teases out associations and it makes me know they aren't a wolf voting for a human. Manti is not going to value YoshL's opinion very highly during the first phase because manti has his own method of finding targets.

The sense I get from that post is that manti is coming from a headspace where he is hoping to use something YoshL says errantly to direct the lynch in a direction he would prefer. This is something I worry about with YoshL being too active, it makes him easily manipulated.

Where a confirmed human is really important on the first day is in deciding where a split-up lynch will fall. If YoshL is on the wagon and we're running out of time, that is the wagon we must commit to.

But what manti said just sends this up front message to me that manti is looking to create a positive mental association to YoshL (in the sense that when Pepsi shows you boobs on TV later on when you are looking over things in the grocery aisle you look at that hotty buying seltzer water and dream about her rack and then suddenly a pepsi is in your hands.) That is an interesting choice for his initial thought coming into the thread. I want to know more about this.
