Re: how2make dubstep

I've never posted in a thread you've made before, and I'm still right about there not being a magic formula. No need to get butthurt kid.

Re: Which DAW do you use any why?

Fruity Mute, Automate on/off. It's an extra step but not one that takes up much time, like 10 seconds tops.

Personally I use the Send busses in FL each with their own type of reverb and just...

Re: Which DAW do you use any why?

Not really. You can't beatmatch tracks without processing time and likely playback glitches/stops.

Re: Which DAW do you use any why?

Yeah FL also tried to include something similar to Reaktor too. They call it 'Chainer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmqevuEqag4)'. It doesn't do everything that Max for Live does(nor vise versa),...

Re: Which DAW do you use any why?

To name a few off the top of my head:

- Automation shapes and precise/input values on automation points.

- Controllers comparable to Fruity Peak Controller and Formula Controller.

- Dual...

You mean its uniqueness IN ITS ability to do live sets/mixing. Otherwise theres nothing real special about ableton. In fact automations are a bitch and a half in comparison. Faster to get to the...

Re: Unique Synthesis Techniques.

Instead of using formant filters, I find that I can get a pretty cool sound by making a multi layered sound and using the vocoder in FL with one of the layers. If you've ever used a vocoder to try to...

Re: FL studio

Its not even REMOTELY, regardless of the way. The longest method required about 4 clicks. Don't be a lazy producer. I spend probably 7-8 times more time on mixing then composing a piece.

Another method. Probably would be faster for 3rd party automations.

Which reminds me I dont use my nano kontrol enough.

Depends what you mean.

You can automate the LFO speed in all native plugins by right clicking the knob and choosing 'create automation clip.' Same goes for any native parameter in fact.

Re: Merry Christmas

There should totally be more dubstep remixes of Tchaikovski pieces. That said, this could have gone a lot further too. Kinda seems like just playing around more then a full track.

Re: [MASSIVE Post-Acid PsyDM Braindance] Soft Eyes

It sounds like it's missing that level of bass that gives it a full sound. You've got the really deep bass then it kinda skips the whole 150-300hz. Otherwise great track I enjoyed it.
