I definitely think judges shouldn't be able to participate - there's way too much bias there... and if Phynx found a temporary judge to take his place then the judging would be inconsistent.

If there was a buildup of lactic acid, it would most likely cause cramping and soreness, which doesn't sound like the problem. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I'm not a swimmer, but if it feels like your arms are heavy then you probably need to train or practice more. Doing other sports or exercises that involve upper-body strength might help. :3

It would make the poem less awkward (and seem shorter) if you combined phrases.



You use "as" to start a lot of the sentences and that also breaks up the flow.

Also, never start sentences /...

It started off strong but then came repetitive and lost its meaning. It's tough to write about something so cliched and most people don't want to read the same thing over and over, so keep it short....

I would personally change some of the wording around and fix some grammatical errors, but other than that you should stay with what you have and build...

I've read The Chronicles of Narnia - they were so-so. The Redwall series looks pretty interesting though...
