problem loading songs ?

Ok well its been about 2 years sinse ive had a comp, and I use to have stepmania on it and before to run it was pretty simple download stepmania and then download songs put all the files of that song...

I honestly forgot what all was inside the itg folder besides songs and stats so can I just make a folder called in the groove 2 and inside that folder another folder called songs and put all my songs...

I dont understand almost every time I convert my mp3s to ogg it works, but when I tried to do a song a second ago it wouldent do it.Is this a common problem with ogg lab 2004?

Ok I downloaded the bones, and I put all the files in a folder called bones, and then put it in the characters folder, and it didnt work, then I put it inside the character I chose, and it still...

characters

I have stepmania 3.95 and i put my characters in the character folder and when when the stage is about to begin it cuts back to the desktop can someone help me?
