Multiplayer bug

Whenever a song starts, the background is blank, there's no music, but I can see the 8 arrows at the top of the screen. The song begins, and my opponent is hitting arrows, but I can't see anything....

Two menus?

There seem to be two main menus on the left, and Its cutting off most of the screen so I can barely see what I am doing. What's going on?
