Yeah, I had forgotten about the R rating... until about 2 minutes in. That opening scene where Logan kills a bunch of people caught me by surprise with how violent it was compared to past movies.

What did you think?

I felt bad for the family with the horses that Logan + Xavier helped. Somewhat reinforced Logan's point that even with good intentions, the innocent people around them get hurt.
