Normally people's utility functions are concave in nature (usually modelled with ln() or sqrt() to get a general idea depending upon the nature of the variables used)

You have to take into account diminishing returns to utility, however. Getting 10,000 credits starting from nothing gives you far more utility than getting 10,000 credits from the 50,000 mark, and...

In my opinion DDR died after Legend of Max and Paranoia Survivor Max. Those were the last good "Hard DDR songs" that weren't so retarded. I think after Extreme, ITG caught wind and people enjoyed...

Regardless, the nature of the judgment system and framerate on FFR make marathon songs...
