what if the first guy were to talk to the second guy and find his number?

then, hed have a 50% chance to find his own and 50% chance to find the next guys', with that, he could either put it in...

Ive got it!

Each box has 1 of the numbers of the ID in it

if the id number is 56
then theyd need to find numbers 5 and 6 to get their ID number

[probably wrong]

so then that means that...

or! 1 looks at box number 1-50 and shows all the other people the number in each one, giving him 50% to find his,
#2 would then know if his was in the the first fifty or not, that being the case,...
