I'm the type of player who's been playing far to long, I come back every now and then and play for a while.

But WHY is mashing rewarded? I can just hit every arrow 2-3 times before it actually...

lulz @ stepmania. It's like nearly impossible to press arrows. It just doesn't have that smoothness feel like FFR.

Damn =) I'm not sure if it's the switch to playing more 1x speed but I just did vertex beta on 1.50 and got only 16 misses & 150 boos. Which is nearly half as less as before.

That level ranking is messed, theres some songs in there that I'm sure I've never played, let alone played enough to get into the top 200 scores.

Lol stepmania every direction I turn. I really don't care for it, I rather learn this instead.

I disagree though on not taking your fingers off the keys, but all to their own right.

Can you at least tell me why? I do considerably worse playing that way but I think it'll help in the long run. I do play the piano so I know how crucial those milliseconds can be.

Surprising how much I learn if I'm not playing stoned for a couple games then alt+F4 lol.

- I used to hit arrows at the exact moment I thought was gonna score "perfect" but instead got more goods...

I have always played 1.50x speed, I guess this is why I'm so good at mashing through most songs lol, so to fix this I'm trying to work on normal speed with the half screen thing. I like the half...

Well My MP lvl has dropped from 15 to 9 and still going lower since I switched to 1.50x from .75

But I guess in the long term this is for the better..

Right now in FFR, I'll be using all the dance 2 songs as examples.. (Very Diff/Very Challenging ones) not sympathizer or crowdpleaser..etc

But I get roughly a dozen or so misses, on a good day...

Pssh thats dumb. So who ever gets shot by that thing is given less of an advantage in the match, but some how Corneria managed to stay a counter pick stage even though it sorta did the same thing.

I usually browse tabs or something while I wait for another player to join my room. And I hate checking back other tab every 5 seconds to see if someone has joined... And then sometimes they leave...

Well I've been playing for about 2 1/2 years, and I just can't FC any song. I play {Firestorm} at 1.75x and easily combo everything, but when I know I can't make a mistake I just end up screwing up...
