    Re: Trickster: The game

Im going 4114 as well, for this reason:
    Starting point Distribution should be Sense:4 Attack:1 Magic:1 Charm:4
    Another one is Sense:4 Attack:4 Magic:1 Charm:1
The first one is a weaker build from the second one, however the second one at higher levels they'll have less HP and DEF, therefore it will be VERY DIFFICULT for them to level by them selves at higher levels.
Oh and also the Main site is going through problems so you wont be able to login the site.

I want to be in on this please. I'd either be Cat/Raccoon or Fox/Lion. Id probably be the females though so it'll either be a cat or a fox. I usually go with the rougey sort of characters.

Hmm. I'm gonna try it out. IGN: evilchickens

Edit: on second thought, I think I might try being a raccoon as well. I'm still looking at different builds.

Edit again: Probably going 2224 (being atk, mag, sen, cha)

I thought I would just let you know if you didnt know about this already.

Fox's are assassins, they throw stars.
Lion's are gunners, they shoot guns.

Maybe that will help you out with your desicion.

Yeah, that's pretty strange. Different genders have different powers. With mages, males can only go light or dark, and females can go like all the captain planet powers + electricity.

With charm, I think it's just a few skills difference, but from what I've heard raccoons > cats.

Not sure about the power class yet.

And if Keeto (er Bahamut) decides to go mage, we have a royal party on our hands.

                Re: Trickster: The game

Ok it's final I'm going to be a Power type (Buffalo) but I still have to decide between the 4114 or 4123 build. I might go towards 4114 because some say it's better for PvP and those level faster, but the other one you can "dig" better. So 75% chance of 4114 and 25% chance of 4123, I still need to read the pros and cons so I can make my choice. =/

Oh, 4 days away untill we get to play it. XD

Hmm, I'm either going Sheep/Dragon (haven't decided) or Racoon. Would this work for a Racoon:

                    2134

I just want to make sure I'm not fscking anything up yet.

The thing that sucks about a lion gunner is that levels 1-25 all I will do is dig. That makes leveling really slow. Everyone will be level 50 while im level 23.

I think that once I hit level 30, the game will be a lot better for me playing wise.

                        Re: Trickster: The game

If anybody is concerned about being a bad digger, I plan to be a Lion, since they use guns, and I think guns in RPGs are lol. 3142 or 2143, I'm not sure. More HP would be nice, but more damage would be better, I think. Especially since criticals and accuracy increase with Sense, I could be pretty strong with 3142, I think. *shrug*

When does this game become actually available and such, anyway?
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

I plan to be a gunner, since I am a gunner or strong single attacker in nearly every single MMO I play.

                            Re: Trickster: The game

This game is available for download on monday (July 24th) eastern time. So sunday night at 9 o'clock pacific (my time>your time) I'm gonna see if I can download this.

I've been looking through the site and at the monsters, which has led me to believe that you level incredibly fast on this game. The boss monsters are 100+, while the two strongest monsters are level 999 (Spicey Dragon, fire) and level 777 (Queen Ordinea, ice). The second dungeon has regular monsters ranging from 21-4x or 6x I believe, plus boss monsters which are level 247 I think, and another Leviathon type boss.

I've been watching gameplay on youtube of a level 199 Dragon Mage, and this game looks extremely inviting. I can't wait for it, and it might even take me away from MS it looks so good.

That's a link to five videos of Trickster.

As for my class, I'm leaning towards Dragon, but Buffalo is a close second. No for sures on my class as of yet, but if I still haven't decided by sunday night/monday morning I'll just make a spontaneous choice.

I want us to get a party going asap so we can all learn the game together which would be pretty cool.

                            Race to second job KGO!

edit: I think I'm going to be Raccoon as well. My build is either going to be 2224 or 3124

That 1st video sucks, but the next couple are pretty awesome. Also, I've heard that leveling is pretty fast, but that combat takes more skill than MS. As in, it's not just holding down the attack button and hitting the pot button when you need to.

The game looks neat, but I'll prolly play it for a lil while and go back to MS. Maybe I'll play both regularly (in fact, I prolly will for a while, like I did with GW, but I eventually gave that up) or maybe I'll go back to MS, but I definitely won't stop playing MS, cuz the side-view 2d thing is cool.

Hmm. After looking around a lot more, I'm probably gonna try a 2134 build and just get Gelda throw for an attack. It has set damage regardless of AP. Most stuff I've seen says Raccoons are better to save their TM points for later, so I'll probably do that.
