I suspect the issue may be that the FFR Beta is only playable by logged in subscribers, while FFR is playable any time by anybody.

By disconnecting from the internet, you are failing to confirm that you are a logged in subscriber, thus no beta.

Not true, I miss seeing all my friends nearly every single day of the week...

Also, I have no clue about this, being I have never played offline, I just wanted to correct EnR

what devonin said.... beta is programmed only to work for subscribers. try to play it when you aren't connected as a subscriber to the database... it won't work.
