Yes I've heard the appauling news. It seems as he has "passed away". Whether or not it is a hoax, he will not finish the book himself as he had planned. As it seems, The Wheel of Time Mastermind has left his crazy fans (i.e. me and many others) to their misery so he will be eternally happy without crazy fans knocking on his door.
