Hey everybody i've been makin some gifs that i'd like to post here. If u guys have any please post to!

Heres A Zero one. Kinda of choppy. Use them as you will but if you want you could probably give me some credits.

the anis are done horrably...the first one is choppy looking running and the 2nd one is just lazy you just did a regular farward motion then braught it back....pixels are good if you actually did them

I do make gifs myself. The people here have seen a few before. So I think I can be a critic here if I really feel the need.

King Deedeedee is fine.

Zero, on the other hand, needs work. Yeah, it's a little choppy, but more than that, the frames of animation aren't lined up properly. His feet don't move, yet he jumps around in the animation.

The colours contrast with eachother way too much and it's got too many focal points that keep drawing my attention in this certain order, it's hard for me to keep looking at X_X

Where do you get those programs. I thinking making gifs could be fun. Do you have to buy them or what?

not if you want to. you can do a google search for gif making program, for the sprites also do a search for sprites(I found mine by typing Metroid sprites)

JASC Animation Shop is the best program for making animated gifs out of sprites.

I use the emulators and take all screen shots I need, then alter them from there. So I kinda do my own sprites.

I know a guy that literally does his own sprites. One time, I was looking for SNK sprites (specifically, Rock's win animation from Garou where he makes purple energy wings behind him) and stumbled upon his message board. Some of the stuff he's showed me impressed the hell out of me.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the link and my other computer was vandalized by my dad. I'm grounded from it so he stole my power cord.

All these years...I thought it was an eyepatch... :( ....And I thought there were akimbo uzis you could pick up in Metal Slug 4...Or was it akimbo Heavy Machine Guns that I saw?

Oh, and I have the Metal Slug 2 rom and I have beaten it many times.I haven't played MS4, nor do I have a rom of it to rip sprites. As for the sunglasses vs eyepatch thing, look a little closer at the character select screen.

Mychilli: Metal Slug 3 rom. There is an emulator called Kawaks that has an excellent screenshot factory. You can disable all the layers and sprites except for just what you want. Then, set the background to some random color (I usually use green), have the program take a screenshot, load up the screenshot in Photoshop or whatever, and just remove what you're looking for. You can also advance the game a single frame at a time using Kawaks, so the moment the sprite shifts at all, you can take another screenshot. If you count how many frames go by between each spot of animation, then it's easier to get the animation to move the speed it's supposed to.

edit: when i open a game it says ###-p1.bin ("more #'s) ERROR. How do ya fix it?

aaaaa ,please, maybe pm me, or im me? roms searching pisses me off alot, usuallly end up at a porno siteThe place I get my roms from IS a porno site. Hentai to be exact. The banner ads there really piss me off. If it wasn't for the fact they actually have a really large rom database, I wouldn't go there.

So that's yet another reason for me to not tell you. Informing people on the location of pron is a bannable offense at this site.
