I don't know who could possibly do this well... but I was thinking of a song specifically designed to be the "bad boy" of FFR. This song probably wouldn't be able to be made untill FFR implements BPM changes, or only if each song was at a constant tempo. The songs below can be used for examples on how to do it:

Classic 2 - *removed*/classic2(rc).mp3
Classic 4 - *removed*/classic4(concertare).mp3
Classic 8 - *removed*/classic8(linetimes).mp3

Basically, all or most of the songs that have tempo changes (Revolutionary Etude, One Minute Waltz, etc) would just be one constant tempo, and a live performance would not be used (it would all be done electronically to ensure being onsync and constant)

The songs used would be (in no specific order)...

Rondo Alla Turca
Revolutionary Etude
Minute Waltz
Flight of the Bumblebee
Winter (first movement)
Summer (third movement)
William Tell Overture (finale)
Csikos Post
Pathetique (third movement)
Moonlight Sonata (third movement)
blur (first 12 seconds)

Here are midis of all the tracks in a zip file: *removed*/classicmedleymidis.zip

Not only would that song be incredibly cool as a stepfile, it would with no doubt be the hardest stepfile ever seen on FFR...it could probably compete with a lot of the harder SM songs as well. I mean, I was just listening to it and I could imagine how hard it could be.

And wasnt' that song on Pop 'n Music?

Once again, Anti misses the point.

Do the midi files work for anyone else? They open up but I don't hear anything... But this seems like a very interesting undertaking!

id be willing to put together a crazy classical piece, but i just think these medleys are WAY too cheesy. I could do one of these maybe. But is an original thing without old shit ok? (i can do as crazy as you like)
oh, and if you want something crazy now, search for transcendental etudes by franz liszt (the hardest piano pieces ever written)
ps- even though my electronic music isnt too good, i have alot of experience with classical (if you want i can tell you bout my classical music, but i think id bore people)

Yay for month-old threads.

I'm probably going to take a shot at this in Finale. Do you still want Blur used now that you've taken it down?

Or is someone already working on this for you and you didn't tell the public?
