It's appealing, I suppose. There isn't a proper border, and the one you have now is kind of bugging me. I think this sig would be much cooler with some lighting, and different text.

As you said, the shoulder looks "meh". You should just blur this, because it's just a choppy render.

Good job my only suggestion is to cut it out better. Or smooth out the edges after you paste it onto the background. Try adding a gaussian blur I find it usually smooths the edges a bit.

The render is kinda poor quality, can see the pixels and stuff... The borders are bad, and the text is really bad. Work on those. The concept itself is very simple, but it works as a solid forum sig.

You don't need a fancy border. In fact, when most people try to make their border more complex then it has to be they screw up their sig. A 1px black border will suffice for this sig.

I think you could keep your current border, but still throw a 1px black all around it. For some reason I'm thinking that without your current border the sig would feel bare.

thats what i was thinking

ill fix it up tomarrow and use a gausian blur on that shoulder lol

edit: dang it i could have used my feather plugin to make it better but all i did was save it as a png so i cant go back to each layer, so i have to blur it :[

I'm sorry if you wanted to do it yourself, but I just felt like doing it for you.

I have the whole Paint.net program on my flash drive, but I rarely use it. About everything I need is in gimp.
