I think that "Ruubikkusu" would be closer to sounding correct, because the double-consonant shortens the rest. Just like "fax" being "fakkusu".

And I laughed when I saw this thread... And I'll laugh more if the thread creator actually believes that that is his name in Japanese.

EDIT: Oh, right Japaneze. This language is new to me.

You're right silvuh -- forgot to add the double consonant

Anyways a lot of foreign words get transliterated into this sort of speak in Japan and written in Katakana.

I have no idea where the original poster got such a weird translation table

First of all, no.

Second of all, no.

Third of all, that's not even Japanese.

Fourth, that's not how to transliterate names.

This is the biggest piece of failure I've seen in a long, long time.

Never post anything like this ever again.
