why dosent the backgornd on the profiles show all the way its always cut less then half way all i see on mines is a hand :?: :sad:
AND when we upload potos they should be able to support animated .gif 's

Actually maybe that the picture is too high than the maximum and instead of telling you, it just crops it down so it can fit...

You have to crop it so its about 650 pixels wide. The bg is designed to get stripped at that width. If you have anything bigger, anything past about 650 will get cut off from the right side of the picture. I think that the background shouldn't get split in the middle of the profile either. I'd rather have a giant picture take up the whole background instead of 2 of the same picture side by side. KONATA RULES!

Firefox is sweet all the timeYes firefox is indeed a much better browser for many many reasons.
But using background images to align with text doesn't work as well as you might think, even on firefox. It depends what a user's minmum font size is set to (or default font size in some cases, but I think this site doesn't use default font sizes cause it's dumb).
For instance, I'm running at high resolution, so I have my computer set to a higher DPI, and for firefox, I have minimum and base font sizes increased as well. The result is your background doesn't make much sense.
