Subscriber SOTW's Now Available for Musicians and Sim Artists

After a discussion, we decided that we would open up the early posted Songs of the Week for the FFR R1 Musicians and Step Artists.

I am still working on getting everyone tagged that has either had songs or steps approved for FFR R1, so in case I have missed anyone, plug it here.

Also expect some profile updates today regarding those users.

SIU will likely soon get a similar kind of option as we go forward, but thats for another post.

Well I seem to have 1 file submitted and accepted to ffr, but can't find where all these new unreleased SotW are. However, it looks like you guys added a dance 2 and token genre (wtf?) so that might have something to do with it?

I think that music and stepfile authors are just as much keeping FFR alive as "real" subscribers. After all, good stepfiles and good music generate site traffic, which also generates cash for Synth & co.

I have to say, I'm extremely happy that you're proposing to let us sim writers get early access. That is the coolest thing I've heard in ages.

This won't stop me from finding a way of getting a year's subscription though. ^^

I like the new addition, but I would not like to see the added bonuses become the primary incentive for contributing to FFR.

Fortunately, my decision to create a file for FFR was made a few days before this update was implemented.

Drugstore: it has been accepted to the queue.... but it has not been added to the game. therefore, as of now, you don't have any music in the game. once you do have music in the game, you'll be credited.
