belongs in the brag board you low esteem son of a bitch... go get compliments other ways other then lying. Everyone knows you're just a fat nerd, and you saw someone pwning DDR at the arcade, while you were on your way to Best Buy to buy 16 more meg of RAM... and said it was you. You pathetic piece of shit.

1618 posts, you've been a FFR member for several months already, meaning you've been playing FFR for several months. In 4 months time, youve never had the curiosity to go down to the arcade and play DDR? Only twice, heh, lies.

HAHA your obviously a newb to this.
I've been on the forums ever since they have been around.
This account was created after the new version came out.
uhhh DUH!? You can ask anyone on these forums I've been here a long time playing.
Edit---My newer accounts dont date back long long back when the forums were first opened because I used to created accounts like adh;khfllhdf and password 20947223 just to play and have fun ...blablablabla then when I started getting pretty good at the games I met some new people on the boards and starting posting. But I can assure you I was here a long time, and you can take my word for my scores on FFR,SM,DDR I dont lie cheat or fake anything.
My motto for games is " 100% Legit " and I intend to stand by that forever.

Uhh just because I signed up late doesnt mean shit all. Its REALLY obvious that you've been here a short time because before the new version back in the older days you were able to play without signing up all you had to do was play.
PLUS! About the curiosity about DDR,I've known about it for years now,but since I moved from my old house Im in a totally different area with virtually nothing to do in this stupid town. Then I only found out later that there was this 1 arcade that could possibly have DDR and it did and I finally went that 45 minutes just to go play it. So ya DDR is easy for me and im slowly moving up in the standard and heavy levels.

Holy fuck you're a dildo. First off, if you've ever gone to chat and seen Robby on his webcam you'd know that he's definitely not fat. Second, how do you know he's lying? I played DDR for the first time for an hour last week and I could pass Dynamite Rave on light (the max2 version...4 footer IIRC). In short, FFR/Stepmania skills do translate a little bit over to DDR. Robby is used to reading fast moving arrows, so playing things on 2x is not as difficult for him as it sounds. Pull the dick out of your ass and let the guy enjoy DDR for christ's sake.

haha you weiners, yeah man i belive you, thats good for your first time.
i remember when i first stared was at a house party, we played so long, we were all drinking and i said one day ill beat max 300 on heavy... everyone laughed... but you know who got the last laugh... muahaha.
im working on psm oni, the hardest song in the game right now. Ive gotten B consistantly on the max's.
but good job. you might wanna ditch the speed mods though, if you ever wanna do an oni course, your gonna regret playing with speed mods.

Ya but I put speed mods on purpose. To build a "groove" to get comfortable with playing fast for the harder levels im going to try to acheive later on.
I havn't tried an ONI level yet. But soon I will go back and play again..

I believe you did it. I know that Robby is not a huge liar, and with the FFR experience (Which I know all about), I think he could have done it. Come on people! 10 hours? I think that is more than possible.
RobbyZero

Thanks Cen plus. Like I said in the previous posts. Im a natural at most games and this one seems like im pretty average at it for what I've done so far. If I do continue to play this I will hopefully be the next dude with crowds of peeps checking me out.
( largest crowd I've had so far - 5-9 people about :) )

haha dude, seriously 1x is plenty fast for the hard songs. and what about bag? if you cant read slow your just as fucked.
oni is all (well like 95%) heavy songs... your not ready to try that. if you get 4 non combo steps you fail (ie. good, boo, miss or a NG)
RobbyZero

Ya I know how it works :P But ya I played bag on 1x and I forget what I got. It's too slow for me..I hate it.

wait till your doing it on heavy ;)

12-20-2003, 09:54 PM
thats a really good job
i totally believe you. Max300 light is not hard at all...you just have to be accustomed to reading the fast arrow movements which u have learned from ddr sims such as ffr. That is totally believable and all of you that don't believe it need to "lighten up"
EDIT: Bag on heavy is..

Bag is really easy if you can read the arrows. If you can't you suck.

OMFG Bag on heavy 1x is so hard even on SM...now on 5x that's a different story  .
RobbyZero

Ya but think you can 5x it on heavy on DDR? INSANITY!!!
Ya plus on SM that piss easy. So no challenge..

Personally, I like speed mods so I do not get confused in the middle of the song (Yes I have done that before; really regretted it). And for some reason it also gives a sense of the song going faster for me so I stay with the beat more. . . (Unless it is one of the Maxes; I can only A them on Heavy on 1x) And yes that is really good for two tries. . .

I'm preaty-much as sucky as it gets. I usually get D's or C's on most purple songs in light. But I've only played about 10 times

drummerboy...just be quiet, we were all once newbs to FFR, and it goes the same way with DDR ;) just keep working on it Can Man. You'll improve. I'm not a hell of alot better than you anyhow. I can't do any heavies yet, but a fair amount of standards. usually about 4-5 footers, sometimes 6.
As for the person who started this thread, I'll believe you *although there is still no proof that you accomplished that until you get us some screenshots or something* Doing that is definately good for a beginner. It took me atleast 2-3 monthes to get from light to standard. I doubt you going from standard to heavy will be much of a problem. light to standard is the biggest jump of all because this is when we go "1/4s? what the hell are those?"

I believe RobbyZero. I think anyone who had experience with FFR/StepMania can get good at DDR really fast. I have played StepMania for four months and started playing DDR a little more than two weeks ago, and I can AA most heavy songs. (but that's at home, on judge 1 and bar raping)
RobbyZero

Ya it's hard taking proof of DDR unless you want 39462398463864 MB files you know. I dont lie period. So this is what I have done and its true.
To the guy who said he does 4-6 footers I do them too XD I've done a 7 :) ( dynamite rave or afronova cant remember which one...

It all really depends how much you play. FFR helps to starters... and I could pass max 300 within like 2 months of getting the game... but maybe i've played as much as someone who's been playing for a year or so... It also depends how consistently you play... if you play a total of 30 hours with 2hrs each weeks, you won't be as good as if you play a total of 30 hours at 2hrs/day.
Back to the topic... thats pretty good for starting off Robby... strange speed mods but I guess you already play FFR and SM.

I've been playing DDR for maybe...3 months. I had a lot of experience with FFR and DWI, which helped A LOT. I didn't play very often at first, probably 5 games a month. Then me and my friend got to going like every week and I went from light to standard pretty damned quick. Everybody I know is amazed when they aee me play DDR. 6'2 and 260 pounds that could do most standard songs wow'ed people. I'm like 230 now, and I play DDR at home. I can basically beat all the Konamix songs except the 9 footers and a couple 8's.
So, in short, having a substantial amount of key-tapping practice will really help you out on DDR. If you can beat most heavy songs on SM/DWI you should be able to do standard songs pretty easy, unless you are physically uncapable of it.
