Yuck, I hate metal, it's just chaos. But that's just my opinion. I don't think I've ever liked a metal song.
You can post positive replies, so I can post negative. Right? (don't say wrong, that won't be funny or clever)

Dragonforce is the only "metal" band that I listen to...but Dragonforce is a lot more than just metal, Dragonforce is LIFE.

You are going to the Dec 9th NY show? If so I just might see you there.
Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Vader, Pro-Pain, Testament, Lamb of God/ Burn the Priest, Saves the Day etc yeah get the picture?
I don't listen to Saves the Day. It's total opposite of the music I like.
If we are adding power metal too, throw on Rhapsody, Kamelot, Dream Theater, Dragonforce.... old metal Guns n Roses and such. I got really lazy so Im gonna stop.

December 9th, 2005, 01:24 PM
Does system of a down count? Then yes but that's the only metal, hardcore rock I listen to. More of classical rock for me.
* I just noticed from torlocks sig. Captain Jack was born the same year as my mom and was therefore, as old as my mom.

Classical music>metal.
Someone tries to force me to listen to Trivium and **** like that, but I just can't stand it.

I went to the Dec 10 Baltimore Show. DEP was freaking amazing. Between The Buried and Me (Or whatever their name is) sucked. They sucked Big time. The Flashbulb was the best there music-wise, but DEP are master showmen.

December 19th, 2005, 04:40 PM
Mmkay,
Poison the Well
Alexisonfire
Bury Your Dead
Darkest Hour
Evergreen Terrace
Every Time I Die
The Black Dahlia Murder
Norma Jean
Horse The Band
Atari Teenage Riot (I guess they count for hardcore techno, but they sound like both types of hardcore)

Every Time I Die put on the best show I've ever seen. It was eargasmic. I've seen the Black Dahlia Murder too. Norma Jean is pretty good. The breakdown on "Memphis Will Be Layed to Waste" is insane. What Iv'e heard of the other bands you mentioned is usually pretty good as well. I've been meaning to buy the newest Bury Your Dead cd for awhile, just haven't gotten around to it.

Poison the Well is the best one in my list, if you ask me. Especially their last 2 CDs. Everyone rags on them because they're not like the first two, but that's because they're the type of emo kids that can't stand change and think that a band is a sell-out for changing. I ESPECIALLY like Tear From the Red, which has been deemed by many their worst CD just because it has Botchla on it. It's just that it takes a while listening to the band to love the music as much as I do.
