Just came back from seeing it.

Whoooooeee.

Let me put it this way, for those of you deciding whether or not to go see it: The movie's tagline, "Oh yes...there will be blood" doesn't even start to begin to do this movie justice.

Would I need to see the first one? I heard it was incredibly terrible.

You heard wrong; the first one kicked extreme amounts of ass. It was similar to Se7en, if you've ever seen that. With more gore.

And yes, it will help, but it's not neccessary.

The original was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. I would just start laughing randomely and ruin the suspense for everyone else in the theater. It was great. I really wanna see II, but I probably won't be able to.

Saw II was amazing. It was so much better than the first one. The first thing the guy had to do to survive was absolutely insane!!!......I would definitely recommend seeing saw 1 first. The ending of saw 2 is better at the end if you've seen the first one.

Just saw it with my girlfriend and I didn't really like it. At least that one girl who is on 7th Heaven was in the movie, she's hot.

Are you joking? The only redeeming part about the first movie was the ending. And that's because it was a twist. Se7en was an awesome movie. There is no comparison between the two.

Also, the first movie was hardly what I would consider gorey.

Hmm

Serial killer makes people kill themselves in gruesome ways because they are inferior. Sounds to me like a tag line for either movie.

And if I remember correctly, the first one had that five minute long scene where the guy sawed off his own foot.

And the scene where the chick rips through her living boyfriend's intestines for a key.

And a guy shredded to death with barbed wire.

etc etc

The preview looked pretty cool in theaters when I went to see Cry Wolf which sucked horribly. I expecially like the part when the guy looked through the hole and on the other side it showed the gun and it shot off.

Alright, so it was pretty late at night and I was flipping through the channels. I get to spike TV and they're like "Special sneak peek at Saw II!" So I was like, "Sure, I'll watch it." It's almost 2 and I thought to myself, thank god I don't get scared over these things. It shows the clip of like 4 people being locked in a room where they had to find a key before the door locked forever. So the guy's like, "HOLY ****, WHERE'S THE KEY!??!!?" and picks up the bed. Then he finds the pit where the key is lying....But look out guys, there's syringes(sp?)! The guy picks up one of the chicks and they're all like, "NO YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH, BLAH BLAH BLAH" Oh man, at this point I was like, "Hah, he's totally throwing her in and I'm going to laugh my balls off." So yeah, he drops her in, she screams, I chuckle, she swipes away the syringes and screams even more, I chuckle even harder. So yeah, she finds the key, throws it over, the guy drops it, and guess what happens guys! *Click* The door locks forever right before he turns the key and then they're all like ****. Oh man, these kinds of movies make me laugh so hard.

Sounds more like unoriginality to me.

Watch Miike Takashi's Audition.

And the scene where the chick rips through her living boyfriend's intestines for a key.

And a guy shredded to death with barbed wire.

None of which had any kind of impact on me. Maybe I'm just too desensitized. But anything marketed towards the masses cant be too bad.

It was awesome.

I was surprised about the killer though.

Meh, It was good. Good plot twist too.

But the Original was better.

There was no big twist until the end, but it doesn't make an impact on the story. If there was a 3, then that makes a difference.

I expected better, sadly. I wanted some bigger twists and shakes.

Quoted for the truth.

I fell asleep during the first one. The second watching was much better though. Still, it was only an okay movie.

I went to the theater on Monday and watched Saw II. Most of the moving is rather dull. If you are happy with gore, then you'll like the movie. However if gore isn't enough to make a movie interesting, then you'll think it's a subpar movie.

Saw was about a 7. Saw II was about a 6.

Ugh... Most of you have no taste in movies. THIS IS NOT A GOOD MOVIE. The end had little to do with the story. I saw it coming. It didn't make the movie worth it. Again, if you think a movie is good because of gore, then that's the only way to see this as a good movie. How can any of you say it's awesome? Awesome is Pulp Fiction. ****. Oh wait, you're all 13 and think Harry Potter movies are well made movies. Nevermind.

ok for those who haven't seen this movie do not go and see it it'll waste your time and money this movie sucked! the first one was way better.... so i have to say why ruin a good movie just don't see the second one u have nothing to lose unless u do go see it

Just a warning cause i ruined it for myself by going to see it :(

Yeah, whatever you said didn't matter.

Go see the second, even if you didn't see the first. The first has bad acting, but I think it was on purpose because everyone but the two guys were good.

The second movie was just a movie, no psychological things. I enjoyed it, yet I did want more. Everyone died so quick.

Wow, let's criticize people on what kind of music and movies they like, especially since it makes us feel so much better about ourselves. Kiddies, get over it, most movies suck.

It would of made a lot more sense if you put quote tags as to where bandit wrote. And yes, all movies are perfect like banditcom and the girls in his avatar.

I realized that you're entitled to your own opinion, but you're probably the type that thought XXX (Vin Diesel, not porno you fags) was a good movie.

Well, let me put it this way:

If this were a made for TV movie, I'd be the best made for tv movie ever. Which is what it the pacing felt like. I believe the idea behind the story is rather clever and the movie kept me entertained. The detective really pissed me off...which I guess is for the better.

But I still hated the directing/editting for the most part. Seriously. I wanted to see a movie, not have a f*cking seizure. It's not a cool effect and it doesnt make the movie more edgy. I understand that totally flipping the sh*t with the cinematography makes gruesome scenes more bareable...but come on.

Oh yeah, big-stupid-guy who goes on a rampage to escape captivity was done to death in The Cube.

i thought that saw 1 was decent and i thought that saw 2 was incredible. watching the first saw does help explain some things in the second movie but its not necessary, and in my opinion, i find that that the writer or saw to be a sick and twisted genious. :D

The ending of 2 would have been better if it was the son who was the killer. And what is all this crap I'm reading about people dissing movies calling them garbage and stuff? Movies are as good as the person watching them makes it out to be. Sure it might be garbage to you but that just means you have high standards. Nothing wrong with that just don't expect other people to have the same standards as you.
