Over the past few weeks, Projekt Zero and the crew over at EMCentral have been preparing a website dedicated to helping those who want to learn how to produce electronic music. The site they have prepared is community based, so everyone is encouraged to spread the word about EMCentral. Also, some of the songs produced by the artists at EMCentral might wind up on FFR, and it is the EMCentral community that decides which songs are worthy enough.
So, go check out their site at http://emcentral.dyns.net/ regardless of how good you are at producing electronic music. Everyone is welcome, from total noobs, to pros. They've got a few of the better-known artists from sites like OC Remix, FFR, and ACIDPlanet ready to help teach people how it's done. It's definately worth your time to check it out.

Just like to say hello. I'm Projekt Zero, and although I might not have been really active in the forums, I've been a member of FFR since October of 2003. Loved the game, loved the artists, so I started this project as a result of FFR. I'm really new to making music, but I made a few songs and people liked them. They asked me how to make songs like that, but to be honest, I really was no expert. So, here we are now, a few weeks later with a lot more talent behind us, at EMCentral. I definately wish you guys would check it out, I've spent a lot of time and effort on this and I hope it's paid off.
Thanks guys.

That's great. I've been righting electronic music for about 2 years now. I wish that site had been around when I was starting out. Music production can be really tricky.

Just a note: EMCentral is currently working on a CD featuring singles from Aerogroove, SuperGreenX, Prophecy, DJ Ascent, Karius Vega, Jihnsius, Draigun, DM Ashura, Ren, and more!
And what's even better? The CD will be completely free! It'll be downloadable online, or if there's interest, I will send a copy to anyone who wants a physical CD (but I'll have to charge for shipping and all). The advantage of buying the physical CD is that A.) You don't have to burn it yourself and B.) You'll get our awesome cover art.
Anyways, check it out, it's free, and it'll be out sometime within the next week. Also, EMCentral has been reformatted with a Q&A musical forum. ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT MAKING MUSIC OR ANYTHING MUSIC RELATED: ASK!!! The artists will happily reply!

Er...you register for the forums on the forums. There's actually a button on there near the top that says registration. >.>

Now that you mention it, yes, there is a tiny button that doesn't say registration anywhere on it. It's fine I guess.
