This is one of the best games ever. It may even top Disgaea once Laharl comes into play.

Yes, Laharl is in it. As a story character. No optional rubbish this time around.

It's Phantom Brave's system without confining and with a lot of tweaks. It's definitely the best battle system of the 4 (LPT, Disgaea, PB, and MK).

So uh, I just finished totally owning this game. 95 hours on the clock for 100% completion. Oh yeah.

It's hard to believe that, since they always put so much in their games. There may be extra places that don't go into your completion.

Um... I know what I'm talking about. I have every secret character and I've beaten every boss. I've beaten the game twice and played through it four times (you have to restart in the middle of it to get 2 characters). There's no percentage ranking in the game, I was just using 100% to mean complete.

In Disgaea, there were alternate endings like fighting the Dark Congress 100 times, and other things that couldn't be done in under 100 hours.

Well, not in Makai Kingdom. It's rather short overall compared to Disgaea.

In Disgaea, there were alternate endings like fighting the Dark Congress 100 times, and other things that couldn't be done in under 100 hours.There are only 4 different endings. One, kill 50 of your own characters before the last chapter. 2, kill Salome in this one map where she helps you out. I think the other "bad" ending is an offshoot of that one. And then there's the good, normal ending. There's also endings for losing to some of the secret bosses.

My only beef against Makai Kingdom was how easy the game turned out to be. Disgaea proved a problem my first playthrough on a few maps. Phantom Brave, unless you power-leveled an uber weapon early, was pretty hard to do. This one I beat without trying to do anything fancy in about 20 hours.

And yeah, the only bad thing about MK was the lack of difficulty. Everything else was pretty much perfect. The main story was a bit short, though.

The main story was a bit short, though.There are also special cutscenes if you lose against Etna, Laharl, Pram, Alexander, Zetta's body, and the Yo****suna. There's also ANOTHER special cutscene if you win or lose against Zetta's Body and you have Laharl set as your leader.

Yeah, but those just give you a game over. Except the Zetta one with Laharl, I believe that actually gives you a bad ending.

This game is lame because it's an RPG and someone who made it was Korean, which means it's automatically lame. Also my friend told me it was bad so his opinion is my brain and I'm not gonna play this game. [/moogy]
